I'm surprised more people didn't know about that one. I figured that out a few days after I started when I accidentally clicked one I already cleared.

I learned it only last month. I played as a tot and barely ever since and now minesweeper is something I try to get better at daily

@@AlkWood Oh I'm not basing this on my expectations. I'm basing it on the things I've seen from people who've played and the people who watch those people play. If I'm wrong, it's a sample size issue, or else minesweeper content draws in people who DON'T play it rather than people who do, and thus my data has an implicit bias I wouldn't have thought to account for. Either way, I can at least still say with confidence that Tenma is good at the game, because it's first and foremost PvE, and so a quality judgement doesn't depend on other people. And to me that's the part that matters most. Good job to her.

Minesweeper is not hard. You just need a bit of logic and sometime a little bit of luck

@@VictorRodriguez-zp2do Certainly feels that way to you and me. Definitely not to everyone, though. It's a little thing called the Curse of Knowledge. Some things may be easy for anyone to do. Some things may require tons of rigorous practice. And some things, like Minesweeper, require a one-time bit of learning. Once you've been shown the 1-2-1 trick, it's easy every time. But figuring that trick out completely from scratch takes some dedicated thinking, especially to make the realization that it will be true in all cases and is a viable shortcut. That's kinda the core of the Curse of Knowledge. Once you know it, it's easy, but before then, it's tricky if not outright vicious. And of course, some people's heads work better with this sort of logical reasoning than others do. Same way most students can't stand or understand math, and for me it clicks easily but I hate other subjects instead.
