As we say every damn year- it is a true shame that Mike Keith isn’t the Voice of the Vols.

I believe in Pruitt. It's gonna be a rough first year for him. He's inherited BJ recruits. On top of that it's a completely new offensive AND defensive scheme. Yes we've had spring and fall camp to prepare, however the time it takes to create a new chemistry among the coaches and players, athletes that were recruited based on the old schemes from BJ, size and speed much different than we need, injuries already beginning to plague us while also not having any depth at positional players, quite a few guys actually transferring in thru the summer and not getting enough reps in the fall, meanwhile the rest of the SEC with new coaches didn't exactly inherit bad talent and teams like Auburn, Georgia, Bama, etc... Just rollin in the deep with same staff, top tier recruits, experienced players and 4* deep depth, WV with a Heisman canidate QB that has already beat us once and had that rival passion to beat us along with amazing experienced wide-outs and QUICK defense and a veteran OL with all spring and fall to prepare. Folks we're starting from behind. Can't expect much this season from our Vols. We gotta just believe the next year or so of recruiting Pruitt athletes will turn it around. He has proven success along with the rest of the coaching staff. I know its been YEARS, over a decade....but we've got a great Athletic Director now and great coaching.... Lets get behind them and support them through the bad before the good. #VFLinElizabethton,TN-EricHeaton

I feel bad for Pruitt this year but at least now he can go after the right recruits that fits his style of play. The gators are down this year and if they could pull that one off I feel like it would be a great season.

Yeah that was back in the good ole days. Seems like we are cursed now. TN has pissed off the football gods cause we have nothing but bad luck!!! I wonder if Pruitt can really turn this program around? I'm not expecting to much this year. I know you can't judge the first game of the season but our Db's are mediocre at best. The d line can't get pressure on the QB. It just sucks knowing that this program can achieve greatness but doesn't even come close to goodness lol.

Just a question for e everyone. How big do we have to win by tomorrow in order to call it an improvement in play ? I say VOLS 63 buccaneers 10
