Tennessee vs California | LLWS Elimination Game | 2023 LLWS Highlights

Tennessee and California played an elimination game in the 2023 Little League World Series. The winner would advance to play Washington in another elimination game that would determine who faces Texas in the United States Championship Game on Saturday.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

The best part of my work as a KZfaqr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other KZfaqrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

We practiced this in high school when we got into the state tournament in case we had a good situation for it. My fall looked the realest, but I was also the slowest runner and no one would have believed I would be pinch running for anyone haha

This was a pretty good team from Tennessee this year. Probably one of the best defensive teams in the tournament but has consistent issues with getting the bats going

Agreed. In their defense, hitting 70+ mph pitching from 46 ft is not easy. There aren't many kids that can do it. Pitching and elite defense got them a LONG way.

Just realized that Nolensville used this same trick last year in their elimination game against Texas. The runner fell down between 1st and 2nd. The runner on 3rd scored to make it 7-1 Tennessee as the other runner was in a rundown.

I can’t believe what that mother said mother said about halfway through the highlights. What a braggart. “We have a 3 car garage with no cars ….and then something about the nets and that’s where he learned all this”. Well good for you honey that you have a 3 car garage and money to turn it into a practice facility. Do you think you’re the only one doing that? And what about other players who practice in less than stellar facilities, because they can’t afford them and are still better than YOUR son. What you said was unbelievably rude and self-serving , very poor sportsmanship. Believe me, your money will not get him into the show. Good luck

That “trick play”, kid was out at the plate. Not sure how the umpire didn’t see the runner’s foot going over the plate. I said he was out on the original play and at game speed. Had to give them a gift, which they didn’t cash in on 😂😂

Great game… as a Tennesseean wasn’t sure how they could compete with the size of California but they hung in there great. I don’t normally complain about this a whole lot but that ump was a**. Made horrible calls against both teams Breaking balls, sliders, fastballs, no matter the pitch he was missing pretty obvious strikes for both teams. Hope he doesn’t do another game

@@AdderTude In the mid 80's a kid on my team was already 6' at 11. His father was 6'7'. Still had that baby face though and lanky body. I don't want to disparage Taiwan, but that kid looks like he might have a kid, plus leg muscles that looks like a lot of pros. Then again, I went to high school with guys who could buy beer at 16-17 because they looked 30+ at that age.

That was shady by Tennessee to try and pretend like Lappe didn't touch home plate. The coach told the catcher to tell the Umpire that Lappe didnt touch home plate, when he did, so that they could steal a run from California.
