Tears for Alexander Zverev as he reached the Olympic final. There was no way back for 20-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic. Zverev won 1-6 6-3 6-1 for a place in the final. ROC Karen Khachanov is Zverev's final opponent, he beat Spain's Pablo Carreno Busta 6-3 6-3.

Bravo Sascha! He played beautifully throughout the tournament, skill-fully and with heart. Nole might’ve been the favourite to win to the gold, but Sascha deserved it. So, well done to him on this incredible achievement 🥇

@@thientran9461 On another note djokovic enjoyed too much as a celebrity in tokyo. Everybody wants to talk to him. He should have stayed isolated during the olympic if he wanted to win. Not really he’s pathetic he freaking smashed a racket on the Olympic symbol and threw another racket in the stands. And if that’s not enough he withdrew from the mixed doubles destroying his partner’s dreams for medal. He is a joke.

@@whfan007 lol. 90% of tennis players throw rackets. Take a look at Zverev, Medvedev, Rublev or Tsitsipas, they are all experts. Even Federer broke plenty of rackets in his career. Nadal must be the only exception. If he is a joke then they all are. He withdrew from the doubles because he was severely injured. You could clearly see it in his last match, he was barely moving. WHY do you think he pulled out of Toronto AND Cincinnati after the Olympics? He hasn't played any match for almost 2 months. Your comment is the joke here.

Doesn't matter. If USO 2010 SF was best of 3, Fed would win. If last year USO final was best of 3 Zverev would win. That literally means nothing. It's Olympic SF, you have to play according to the fact that it is a 3 setter. I agree, he's probably win if it were 5, but it isn't, so it's completely irrelevant.
