Medvedev is like an ultra powered old guy playing tennis. His strokes are so unusual, never risky, and he rather building the point slowly, putting the opponent in a losing net. Plus he has amazing athletic skills and superb mental consistency, which makes it really hard for the opponent to break his rallys' inertia. Moreover he has many counterplays in case his opponent is taking over. That's a rare and difficult style of play right there, but if he can cope with the mental stress constantly, Medvedev might be one of the most threatening players in the near future.

A talented player, really solid too. Hope he can go further.

I really like seeing Medvedev play, just a bunch of relaxing rallies and stable shots.

He is more athletic than others, creates wide range of angles, has solid and firm control over the shots he plays. I think this makes him successful.

His shot doesn't look stronger than the opponent player. But he has many points. It's so weird.

He just has that really well-prepared, well-calculated flat shot, especially from backhand, it's almost like sometimes you just can't do anything against it. Especially combined with that ridiculously good footwork for a 6'5 dude.
