Can you give info on the other bands? Wings, May, Metalasia, FiftyOne50, Cassandra ? Like where they are from, and one popular album or song so it becomes possible to search for their music? Thanks in advance

@@metall4ever okay, but read my question properly - I also asked for popular songs and albums by these bands so I can search for their music. Got any recommendations?
I came back to watch this in 2024. I am still very impressed. Massive sound, precise guitar work and super tight band.

Just think about the time period too. They didn't have autotune and was VERY limited with backing tracks. Though The concerts I seen in the 80's was about 98% live. What you heard was original. Some bands made no mistakes and sounded almost like the vinyl or cassette, some made a few, and some just sounded horrible. I miss them days when rock n roll was raw and had the in your face attitude. You either loved it or you hated it.

No doubt Akira Takasaki is one of the best heavy metal guitarist and Minoru Niihara’s undeniable vocal prowess. But can we take a moment and appreciate the air tight rhythm section of Masayoshi Yamashita and the late great Munetaka Higuchi. The fact that there’s only 3 instrumentalists and they sound massive. Awesome 🤘

They were so great and what a great song and band what riffs.
i remember when this first came out, i completely wore the casette out. i still love this band. they paved the way for bands like Versailles and other Japanese artists. rest in peace to Taiji, Munetaka and Hiroyuki.

Yea i bought this cassette twice cause it wore out. They fkn rock azz.
School was in session when I saw Loudness open up for Motley Crue at Madison Square Garden in NYC!!! Loudness hit it hard playing flawlessly and of course, loud as hell. Their deep cuts like this song are intensely prolific. Not only did Loudness seriously outperform Motley Crue, it was a clear demonstration of solid rock chops compared to hair band Motley Crue. Many rockers left a few songs after Motley Crue started.

His guitar tone was/is so metal. That's what made them one of my favorite bands back in 86. No one had a heavier guitar sound.
Their musicianship is beyond phenomenal! Hail Loudness! I was blown away by this band over 30 yrs ago by a local metal station playing songs from their first Japanese vocal albums

I think it's a real testament to this band that the material has held up so well over the years. It had integrity then, and it still has it. I never considered Loudness to be a Japanese novelty act of American music, but rather a truly kick ass band that happened to be from Japan. They went on tour with the biggest act in American rock at the height of that band's ascension, and COMPLETELY held their own, night after night.

In the 80s it was important for me not only listen to metal bands tha where popular in Germany, like Metallica, Iron Maiden o.s.l.t. So I discovered Loudness for me. I liked them for their spezial style of composing and Profession. Bad luck, I never had the opportunity to see them playing libe. Now Im 55 and I like Loudness more than in the 80s. They where so good, much better then a lot of bands that time!
