I have a doubt "Wie war Ihr Urlaub?" and not "Wie wart Ihr Urlaub?" because for Ihr it is wart right? .

Good question. It’s two meanings of the same word. ‘Ihr’ can mean ‘you (inf,pl)’ E.g. Wart ihr auf Urlaub? (Were you all on holiday?) Or it can mean ‘your (fm)’ if capitalised as in ‘Wie war Ihr Urlaub?’ (How was your (fm) holiday?) Hope that helps!

@HerrFerguson Why in the example was written Wie war Ihr Urlaub? Could you explain ? I thought it must be "wart" 🧐

Good question! So the ‘Ihr’ here is a possessive pronoun meaning ‘your’ (like ‘dein’) and the ‘Urlaub’ is the thing we are describing, so I’m saying ‘How was your holiday?’ in the same way that I would say ‘How was the holiday?’

My observant Indonesian ears hear an English /æ/ as in /hæt/ in your pronunciation when you are pronouncing German [a] as in [hat]. You must come from Britain.
