The Baltic is too shallow for the big Boomers and Attack Subs. Sweden has a fleet of Very Capable smaller Electric subs that can take care of the Baltic. In a recent Naval War Game one of their subs 'took out' an American Aircraft Carrier, a first. They are very capable and well commanded.

The Baltic has the only Ruzzian port that doesn't freeze in the winter. They really need it but also need to learn how to play nice to have neighbors that allow them to come and go. Why make Enemies? That's a good way to lose their Baltic Fleet as they have their Black Sea Fleet. They will really need those nuclear powered Ice Breakers to be able to sell oil during the winter.

The big difference is that America helped Russia with tanks planes bullets and built some factories for them and gave them a whole bunch of steel and food so please get it in the right perspective

If you had read history, you would have acknowledged that it is Russia which is in the position of Germany back then and attacking it‘s neighbors. Therefore we might better study said history and analyze the outcome for Russia in this scenario.
