Ah, Tenyi. The lubricant to Swordsoul's war machine. Also, as one who messed with Charmers once upon a time, Draco Berserker is a decent generic level 8 synchro boss monster.

A couple of good wyrm supports for the deck are Mare Mare and Night Dracolich. Mare Mare especially since it is a tuner that creates tokens to easily link summon or help turbo out your Berserker synchro.

@@Trekkie46 this is off topic, but can we just applaud Konami/ the Arc-V anime team for giving legacy support to the support characters in each universe in absence of the protagonists. Like Jack and Crow got new cards (Scarlight and Assault BWs), Kite got his Cipher monsters along with a rank-up spell, Alexis got a ritual version of her cyber angels and Aster got some actual destiny hero fusions (which always kinda bugged me why he didn’t have any in the anime but I digress)

The Tenyi Spirit cards are based off the Seven Chakras. Their names are also very similar to the Chakra, like Vishudda.

Happy to see another one of my favorite decks get featured here. I keep Nidhogg on hand like you suggested as a side deck option, but I never would’ve considered adding Boss Stage alongside it. Thank you for the great tech choices!

Woo! Yes! Tenyi is one of my faborite archetypes, I was playing them pure before I eventually made the upgrade to the swordsoul version. They have a really cool design, interesting gameplay mechanics, and great art! Awesome video as always, keep up the great work!

as a Swordsoul player in Master Duel, adhara is my favorite tenyi to have in hand to act as an uno reverse should my opponent Nibiru my board, so I can just go straight into Final Sigma.

Love this deck as pure! It was the first deck I picked up right when the pandemic hit after the tins came out! Played with it for a while until it got wayyyy too power crept. But still play it from time to time :)

Tenyi was one of the first archetype that I saw when I came back to yugioh and loved both their design and gameplay ever since. Very fun, fairly simple to pilot, and has the added benefit to be a meta deck just by replacing a few cards with swordsoul.

To achieve the benefits of the chakras with or without guidance of the light. Training monk with discipline and shamans guidance can achieve the highest chakra of power and protection. Without guidance only pure power can be achieved. This is like Ryus story from street fighter. Great video!

Tenyi in itself is quite fun and simple archetype to play. It's one of my favorites. I've been playing it pure for a while, trying to add some random stuff I have. -Parallel Exceed is good for rank 4 plays (like number 41 as a plan B) -Destruction sword/Buster lock package, cause I didn't have a reliable normal summon that does smth by itself (no swordsoul cause I'm not rich, lmao) Basically, my deck just says no to monter effects.

Definitely felt like you missed mare mare which is one of the best enablers for tenyi, you can send it with vessel and revive it with shaman for 4 link summoning material

Something I used to use before Swordsoul hit the stage was Waterfall of Dragon Souls also Archnemeses Protos wasn't half as good in a pure Tenyi deck.

AFAIK Gemini Monsters are never treated as non-Effect Monsters, they're a weird 3rd category. Though if I'm wrong they might be an interesting inclusion

You can't make Accesscode with Berserker of the Tenyi. Accesscode needs 2 or more Effect Monsters and Berserker has no effects

@@lamronjr8785 the problem is it doesn't work. Accesscode needs effect monsters. The tenyi links are NOT effect monsters. He even notices and corrects himself later on in the video.

Overall good video, however, gemini monsters aren't non-effect monsters, they are just treated as normal monsters so they won't work with tenyis

Uhh golden nova gemini monsters don't work with tenyi since tenyi cards works on non-effect and gemini monsters despite normal monsters in field & GY they're still treated as an effect monster because they have an an effect treated them as normal monster

Tenyi actually saw niche meta play in 2020 as it had a semi decent matchup Vs synchro eldlich as the link 4 basically walled the eldlich part of the deck. I'm really shocked you didn't mention cards like mare mare as it's the best non tenyi tenyi card for making the link 4 and cards like lava golem and vanities fiend for techs as the deck fully functions perfectly without the normal summon

They do it's just very slow/annoying to access, pure builds run foolish goods because honestly in pure the Gy effect is better. The first effect is better in swordsoul as a way to skirt around inperm/veiler on Moye or taia to search sthana to go into an 8

uh how many parents play/watch yugioh even I who was with this franchise from the start have fallen from it seeing how when we do get a good card out for those like me who are poorer than dirt can be easily gained it gets banned so whats the point even master duel has it to where its pay to win no money wait 10000000000000000000 years to get gems to buy the pack that are out and hope RN jesus is on your side when you know you have better luck falling dead in your computer chair
