Teochew Bak Kut Teh 潮州肉骨茶 - Peppery Pork Ribs Soup
Hey everyone, welcome back to g8stromania and we are going to share our recipe on Teochew Bak Kut Teh today. This recipe is a really peppery and garlicky soup that is perfect for cold and rainy days. Compared For this recipe you will need the following ingredients:
600g prime ribs
150g garlic
12g white peppercorns
1 star anise
Dough Fritters (optional, but is the perfect combination)
Steps:
1. Blanch ribs
2. Toast garlic and white peppercorns. Then crush white peppercorns slightly.
3. Boil all ingredients at high heat initially, then lower to medium and simmer for 1 hour.
4. Ready to serve.
