Teo says some really smart shit, and some dumb shit, but he was spot on when he talked about the reality that it's the fighters that bring in the big money, not the promoters. Yes, they're part of it, but I think back to the rematch between Eddie Mustafa Muhammad and Michael Spinks. And they called the fight off over Eddie missing weight controversially over a potentially bogus scale. (For all you youngsters out there, it was called "Weightgate". And Eddie got up to Butch Lewis and said, "You think they came here to see you promote a fight chump? They came to see us fight. Remember that" and walked off.

The facts are fighters are usually out for themselves. Promoters need to keep the sport going or they make no money. Fighters come and go, rise and fall. It's the Gladiator life, they will be long gone and the arena stays, the promoter stays, the sport stays, the structure stays. Teo will be back to talking to plants whilst Eddie Hearn, Matchroom and DAZN will STILL be putting on cards all round the world week after week. The only time they seem to care is when the top fighters feel they are being underpaid then out they come with all these seemingly altruistic grandiose statements. Funny how you never see these guys making the millions helping those that are genuinely struggling though. Floyd has made billions, has he transformed the boxing world he complained about for so long? No he joined up with Al Haymon to run ticket scams, break the Mohammed Ali rules and become the same promoters he complained about previously. Take fighters' complaints about anything aside from health with a pinch of salt, they don't have to sign these contracts yet they do and then subsequently complain about them whilst doing nothing to exact change as long as they are getting paid enough.

He's speaking of the business of Boxing & how to change it when him & his community came in & took part they never contributed to the life of Boxing so how can he prevent the death of it. He's walking in the footsteps of everybody else that's been doing this. Undisputed was a trend before Teo was even born & no one from his country was even Boxing. 😂

I loved how they all respect teo so much, he deserves major applause. People dont understand this guy is 2 division undisputed lineal champion. He has 2 ring magazine belts and it is most important belt of them all, rest can be got from boxing politics. Plus he did it in 20 fights, Teo is the best 140 fighter
