It was an older version of the Jot Touch and there was an issue with the charging and connectivity. Turns out they changed their support for Bluetooth to a newer version, dropping previous support, altogether. No notice, no updates, no refunds. Very disappointing. Unlike your review, which again, was terrific! :)

It's no different from using a pen. You also have to push down a pen to get the ink flowing.

Anyway I haven’t used Adonit disc stylus before, I am just hesitant to use disc stylus in general because of my bad experience with a no brand stylus lol. Hence I was wondering if a branded disc stylus durability was better or should I just heck it if the disc types are all similar and use the non-disc type like the dash 3 or pixel instead. What is your advice?

Most disc type stylus performs similarly. The Adonit and Meko ones are not bad. As for Adonit Dash 3, it has a small tip but it will have slightly misalignment. Check out my review. Adonit Pixel is more accurate, supports pressure, but is more expensive. If you want to get the disc tips, make sure the connection part is not those spring type.

I guess you can get cheap ones from eBay but make sure the disc connection is a ball and not a spring. The spring allows the disc to spring back to original position but you don’t want that all the time when you are drawing. There are also different version of disc tip stylus from Adonit, just get the cheaper one. Not sure how long they will last but quite long. You can buy replacement tips when they wear out.

Ask for a replacement. It should have a disc. Or it may have fallen out somewhere. It's difficult to find if it has dropped on the floor.

Capacitive stylus require a large contact point. E.g. disc tip, rubber tip

For writing go for those stylus without disc tip.

I've not used that brand before so I can't say much. But I don't their their active stylus means what it really means. Active styluses usually have palm rejection and pressure sensitivity. Ciscle did not advertise palm rejection, so I think that stylus will perform like the Adonit Dash or Adonit Snap.

JABALABA Art hes talkong about the tip.. most of these styli themselves will last a lifetime. They're made pretty simple.

It depends on your usage i guess, its a plastic disk if you dont use it aggressively honestly it could last a good 3 years, assuming you use it all the time
