The rotors are TeraFlex only, the pads are Dodge 2010 Truck 1500 pads.

For slotted rotors and the larger cylinder it was right around $800. Ive had some warrant work done since the install and it did not affect anything. The warranty work was to replace clutch slave cylinders so the brake system couldn't be tied into that anyhow.

I installed this kit on my '12 in two phases. The first without the bigger master cylinder. The braking performance sucked balls even after a dealer performed bleed. With the larger master cylinder this thing stops much much much better. No fade at all. Emergency stop from 50mph a week ago resulted in a quick 4 wheel chirp and then it was like somebody threw an anchor out back.

I liked the video! Did anyone notice he said 12mm when removing the master cylinder bolts and then on the install he said 13mm?

that is kinda impressive that it stops faster then a completely stock jeep. just curious are the bear brakes? look really similar.

I love your vids, they’re fun and informative. Dennis obviously has a lot of experience with Jeeps and is a good mechanic. I have noticed he doesn’t always use personal protective equipment. He should’ve had butyl rubber gloves on when working with brake fluid or any type of chemicals that can get on your skin like that. It soaks into your skin and can cause a lot of problems later. Just an observation.

if brakes are already bled do you still have to bleed them after you put the new cylinder on

You mixed up the banjo bolt and caliper pin bolt torque specs. Your paper instructions are opposite

the information in this video might have been great, but talking down to the young lady took away from it, and only made me furious. If you're trying to teach someone how to do something, talking down to them is not helpful. encouraging them is a lot more helpful than putting them down.

This might have been the first teraflex video you watched, they try to make people laugh, I understand this one isnt the best example. I feel confident that young lady would have quit teraflex if she felt the jokes were personal. the end result is a well planned production showing what you can do wrong or what can go wrong. Im sure this was all scripted and not on the fly. they could have had a well experience engine tech install it, and instead choose a normal person to show anyone can do it, and prove teraflex doesnt discriminate a female from a job that you typically would see a guy doing.

Exactly as Cekiert commented, this was a full scripted video. We like to have fun, and most of that was Jenn's idea. We really had to coach Dennis to be mean, it's that far outside of his character. We completely agree with you and can guarantee this never happens in real live on our grounds. We appreciate your concern.

It wasn't funny. I knew it was scripted, but watching it with my 14 year old daughter and we both found it degrading and not amusing at all. I have Teraflex products and love them, but this is unacceptable.

For how much the kit costs I don't think it is worth the extra stopping power especially when you are off roading and maybe doing 10mph. Sorry just my opinion. I changed brakes and rotors all round for 200.00 and will last me 6 years.
