You will consider this relevant because she is a Hindustani classical singer she doesn't need movie songs or an album yet not only she however every classical singer finds a stage rather than studios despite Ajay Chakravarthy Ji the finest singer in the country right now he only have one song in the movie (aaye na Balam ) I know it's gazal , got used in the movie he never sings in the movie because he wants to people sit together and enjoy the spiritual feeling of classical music.

I really like this version. Instrument work is fantastic and Rekha's voice is very soothing. Sure, that's not the same dynamic as Nusrat's rendition, but low key covers have their place too. Go Rekha !

1. You can't compare male singing with the female one. NFAK version is legendary and no one can recreate that magic. But Rekha's version too is absolutely amazing. ❤️ 2. People who think she ruined the song, should listen to her songs like 'tere ishq mein' (could bring tears to your eyes) 'Namak tere ishq ka', sasural genda phool' and many more to see for themselves how versatile and amazing she is.

Some songs are bound with some singers.. If you know you know what I mean.. Rekha ji is a great singer. I love her rendition.. But Nusrat Sahab's voice was playing in my head the entire time. The soul of the song has become one with him, it feels like.
