The biggest example i can think of, of an incredibly talented person who should have been one of the biggest stars in history but was squashed by the political world that is the music 'business'. He's an amazing presence, artist, writer and singer.

Terence Trent D'Arby was truly a Musical Genius. A complete profound and prolific artist, song writer, musician and performer with an amazing soulful voice, unique style and great looks who ticked absolutely all the boxes to be the ultimate self sufficent Mega Star, which is incredibly hard to accomplish and therefore very very rare throughout the whole history of the music industry. The press and the society in general just weren't prepared for such a talent. He was way ahead of his time.

MJ was more of an entertainer, good voice, great dancer but he was not of a musician, composer. Prince had it all except for a voice.
