Terminator T3 Lite VS Various Brakes

2 жыл бұрынThe new Terminator T3-Lite muzzle brake compared to the Tikka CTR, Ruger Precision Rifle, T2 & T3 Terminator muzzle brakes as well as a suppressor on a Remington 700 Tactical/Varmint .308 rifle using 150 grain Federal & Remington 180 grain ammunition.
I was asked to make this little brake to suit Carbon Fiber & Varmint sized barrels where short overall length and light weight are more important than maximum recoil reduction.
Primarily designed for non magnum cartridges

the problem is not only the recoil, it is the harmonics of the barrel and the accuracy

That 2 port looks like bloody nice mate . Impressive to see the huge differences in recoil .Thought that supressor would've done more.

Awesome vid, I just ordered a t3 lite for my carbon 284 win. I’d be interested in the difference between a t3 lite vs t3 on something bigger like a 300 rum!

Love these videos and my T3 Terminator 👍. Would be great to see how a brake with a blast shield goes. Have been seeing a lot of those around claiming to reduce both recoil and divert the noise forward. 🤙

A blast shield effectively eliminates the recoil reducing properties of a brake. The Muzzle Brake Shootout over at TTAG covered this. Jeremy S, the guy who did the testing, also has a video of the test on his channel if you’re interested
