1 hour to just walk like 10 meters? 100% realism! Also in cdda zombies are also attracted to your scent and not only sound or sight. If you stay longer in an area, than your scent increases over time, making it easy for zombies to find you in that spot.

"I've never seen pepper and been like 'Oh! It's pepper'." You've obviously never been on a month-long clear liquid diet... You do get that feeling the first time you can add a little pepper, so it's not quite so bland.

3 things that really help me: 1) If you find a 'friend' out there, do not have them travel with you. Have them run a different path than your main guy. 2 people eat WAY too much food, and 2 fighters is rarely needed, if you use the windows as a bottleneck. CLose the window, and set back, gain some AP, step forward, open the window, kill the zombie, close the window, repeat. 2) Drugs. Always take the drugs that you find for moral, and energy, so those 2 stats drop slower. Use a lamp to travel at night. 3) find a good food place somewhere (collect rotten food as well), and hold up where there is a reading table. Just spend 2 days reading, eating, sleeping, and build your character's stats, while sitting next to a fire, that you can throw 5 logs on to get a huge bonus to your heat. Cook the rotten food for moral boost.

Looks like a very good game, cataclysm light. Hunger seems overkill though, takes atleast to the 3rd day of not eating for hunger to be inconvient. The first two days you won't even notice, from personal experience.

With the pepper the idea is definitely just that whenever the character eats food that you can put pepper on, he adds pepper, so he's happier knowing he can add some pepper to his burger. Makes sense honestly. Like imagine just eating an unseasoned piece of grilled beef lol. No salt, no pepper, no garlic powder or onion, just hot beef. That'd be kind of gross.

I found firefighter to be the best learning occupation, as the lower tool durability loss was such an advantage. Because each time you attack a zombie with a melee object (weapon or tool), you do more damage with it. By the end of the run I was one-shotting any zombie I came across with an axe, and it was only losing a couple of durability points each attack. The soldier's melee damage bonus is good, and combined with the full combat means he's likely one-shotting zombies from the start, but the durability loss means that a soldier needs to be carrying more weapons in order to not get caught out by it breaking.

Hours of sleep before midnight have more pressure for short wave sleep, which is the sleep that makes you feel rested. REM sleep pressure is after midnight, and while it's important for body maintenance, it doesn't contribute much to that refreshed feeling that going to bed early has.

This game is so evil. It's basically a turn based Zombiod. My guy had full health and all the weapons, and died 1 space away from the ending. I walked into a new location, and 2 heavy zombies walked out of nowhere and did 30 damage. dead.

Pixelated Project Zomboid

So its like turn based Project zomboid. I like it. I did like zomboid but my laptop is old and last updates really hurt my fps. I also do actually prefer turn based games so i'll try this one. If fact i would even prefer games without "walking" but just set of pictures of doors or directions or even a text game (though some pictures are always better). Cost of the game is pretty good too

I believe satiety is pronounced "sat" like he sat down, "I" like I sat down, and "ety" like it sounds in Yeti. Satiety. With the emphasis at the "I". You did pronounce it as it's related word satiate the second attempt. Why the same english root goes from Suh-tai-uh-tey to say-she-ate-uhd. English is quite a dumb language. A consistent rule structure would work wonders for the english language. Though I doubt a massive rewrite of the english language would be recieved well. lol I mean look at classical measurements. It's 2022 and we still cant shed them from American culture.
