Facts!!! I prefer artist like her. So gracious, beautiful, loving and REAL. To know she was not willing to change to be seen is a testimony to all of us to stay true to ourselves and not conform to others view of who you should be.

I love how Ledisi is not a cut out or carbon copy singer. Her style is unique and vibrates through your bones when she sings. She's all woman and reminds us that singing is a gift and the vocal cords are a muscle. She's so unique. I've been mad since they took 'Take My Hand, Precious Lord" from her. Fickle industry.

I remember when they chose Beyoncé to sing Precious Lord, Take My Hand over her at the 2015 Grammy’s when she played Mahalia Jackson in the movie Salma. She has. It's rare but it's titled Feeling Orange but Sometimes Blue. I have only been able to find it in physical form and last time I checked it was roughly $50
