Amazingly, the late Peter Fonda never crashed that ridiculous motorcycle during the filming of Easy Rider. However those ape-hanger handle bars placed such a tax on his arms that when he went to a hotel bar, after a day's shooting, he was unable to lift a glass of beer to his mouth.

Those handle bars are not that bad. In fact, they are pretty common. He just needed to ride more and get use to riding. I know men and women that ride bikes like easy rider all day crossing state lines park and lift beers half the night before getting a few hours of sleep and doing it again the next day. I rode for years a 1990 Springer Softail with 6 inch riders with 16 inch apes. Can't remember not being able to lift a beer after riding hard all day.

I'm still not a fan of Car engined bikes, those, & most of the others on here, are "Unridable nonsense" to put it mildly. They give you that massive amount of CC's & all that HP but no performance, as an exercise ok, but it's not that difficult to do, the 6 cylinder 2 stroke, now that's engineering, but those "Big wheel" messes, why, why would you want a bike that can't be ridden??. I build, for pleasure & pay Cafe Racers, Street Trackers, Street Fighters, I've done it all my life, but I add performance to all of them, & a Unique custom touch, not just the "odd bit" from a different bike, like a lot of "Profesional" builders, do, some of them should be ashamed of themselves. Please don't give me all that "What about Lazareth or the Tomahawk", firstly they aren't bikes, they have 4 wheels, & secondly, have you ever seen them doing what they claim?, Devel 16 anyone, the answer is NO, because they can't do it if they could then they would, they would stick it down the throats of every other manufacturer just because they could. I have a number of bike engined bikes that would shame any & all of these, & they can be ridden, in fact, most are a joy to ride, admittedly with some, you shit your pants Suzuki GT750 & Gamma500 Gassed, but you don't include that when you're telling your story.

Ray Millards machines are big and move along the road check out his V10 viper way to big for me but it roll along the road at 1100 rpm my two stroke triple used to tickover at 1400 rpm kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fJZllJRkmZzKoIE.html On the same page lower down how he made it, You might want to check out the Vincent Black shadow

One thing about riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed is if you do hit something or crash, mostly likely you'll be killed or crippled.....i gave it up after my third close call or near miss. People in cars are not paying enough attention these daze....

I've always been a biker, I love all kinds of bike, but seriously, what is the point in having 2 wheels if it won't go round a corner. 8mim ish, stupid, stupid, stupid.
