Terrifying moment part of stadium collapses as Vitesse fans celebrate victory | WeShow Football

2 жыл бұрынA small section of stand at Dutch top-flight club NEC Nijmegen's Goffert Stadium collapsed as fans of visiting Vitesse Arnhem celebrated their team's 1-0 victory. There were no reports of any injuries.
Arnhem players were celebrating on the pitch in front of their fans when the lowest section of the stand collapsed. About 35 people were standing on the section that was affected.
One player put his hands on his head when it happened before other players punched the air when it became apparent that nobody had been hurt.
Fans quickly clambered upwards, away from the affected part of the stand.
NEC director Wilco van Schaik told Dutch broadcaster NOS that, as far as he knew, nobody was injured. “There was a container under the stand and that prevented anything more serious,” he said.

Football fans always make me smile and happy.....they get soo passionate bout the game and their team and i love seeing passionate people and the fact they was still cheering whilst falling and then helping each other shows that passion that fans hold

@@Ajdasiibishvekot its actually only a minority of fans that are like that, yes there are fans that are violent pricks that do just go nd get drunk nd fight people from the rival team BUT thats like most team sports really. Its literally the minority ruin it for the majority, meaning a handful of fans that are violent drunks give the the peaceful passionate fans a bad name

Thats not to say your still like that or even a violent person i general....just saying that because you went to games for that reason you was around people wanting to do the same, i myself have been going to games for about 4 5years nd the majority of people iv been around whilst there just wanna support their teams and have a good day out and also have football hooligan mates that go to games for fights. If thats how you supporr ur team by punching the rival fans then cool swing for ya life cos there are people there for that....most just wanna watch the game and have a good day though. Iv been to games between tottenham and arsenal nd seen some the most passionate fans going and also seen the fans that want a scrap....yes its part of the culture though not a part i care for

Football fans are the worst, everywhere worldwide. Do you not remember when Britain lost the cup and black people couldn’t go outside for days? Or the riot that happened immediately after? Or how soccer crazed countries to get into bar fights and even murders over favourite teams? Most soccer fans are barbaric, naive and delusional.

Should look at what have hapened in ligue 1 like 3 seasons ago, a tribune collapsed and you see hundreds of poeples on each other on the ground according to french ministery. Nobody have suffer bad injuries. From the footage i see there like 15 death at least💀

They were celebrating then they stopped for a moment when it collapsed. Then when they saw that the fans seemed to be okay(based on the fact that those on the collapsed part were still shouting and fist pumping), they continued
