thank you for the review, I was interested in this model and could not find much reviews despite being in production for quite some time. currently I have big tube monoblocks from SonicFrontier SFM160 - around 150w into 8 ohms and Wilson Audio Sophia Serie 1 and I have the impression that the Sophia could benefit from an amp with loads of current reserve like this one seems to have ! curious to read from others what they think - but the best way is of course to loan one for a few days of test in my home (Sophia weight 87 kg not pounds each…)

Transformer hum... It's almost inevitable to some extent in humongous transformers (>500va) like the one I'm guessing is in that amp.

is the output wattage rms or music power?

What i hate about this brand is the big logo on the front plate 😂😂
