Madonna's prime cannot be touch by the younger female artist today. She set the standard of what a global superstar should be, she moved mountains and she was very huge, the only female artist who can rival Michael Jackson's popularity. Madonna is culture, she influenced pop culture so much. All hail the Queen of Pop!

it's so strange watching a performance like this back and seeing the crowd INVOLVED. no one dances anymore, they just stand still on their phones but this looks so much more fun and in the moment

Bubba gal here... was never a big fan of hers, but love this song, & she was the top female performance artist, probably of all time. Miley & her band comes close, but she lacks the choreography & backup artist. Can’t deny that both worked hard at their talent.

When all is said and done, this inspirational spiritual anthem by Madonna will be her most lasting legacy in post modern music. I would rank her versions of this masterpiece as follows: 1) the original 1989 video; 2) it’s a toss-up between this Blond Ambition performance and the 2012 MDNA tour edition where it closed the Redemption segment of the concert after she did I’m A Sinner, then Cyber-Raga; 3) the cancelled Pepsi commercial version. In terms of visual imagery and messaging, I’d consider Live to Tell in the 2006 Confessions tour crucifixion scene as impactful as the 1989 original video of Like A Prayer. If Madonna were an art painter, these performances will be hanging in the Louvre or the Met as priceless masterpieces.

So Incredible! I’m the same age as M and I’ve seen a ton of shows. Several Bowie and Prince concerts (starting ‘74), Zeppelin, Stones, blah, blah, blah. Every time I watch this clip, I have major regrets I didn’t see this tour. Everything here is perfect! Madonna, choreography, production, ensemble. She IS legendary. 🙏

You clearly haven't seen any of his concerts up until his bad tour. I highly recommend you do. Because you're missing out on how he was a one off on stage.
