For the gulliable: A) Gift cards are valueless, UNTIL you take to the till, and have money put on, and B) There was a payment card hidden in that giftcard.

No it wasn't his gift card,they're trying to say that you pick up the gift card in the shop BUT instead of buying it,you use it to by your groceries. But it's all fake,he had his credit card inside it,those gift cards are usually behind the counter and if they're not,I don't think the activate until the store scans them

Cameras watching all round the self scan area and as previously stated your face is recorded directly @ the screen, only way I'd say would be credit/ debit card in the case. ( ALSO PROBABLY NOT A GREAT IDEA TO EVEN TRY TO COPY THIS)
