Nikola Tesla used an impulse primary coil to excite his secondary. So I did the same, using a solid state series MOSFET switch. only 63W of power was needed to generate 100kV sparks at 1,8Mc/s
This is VERY EFFICIENT due to the recycling of electric energy. The Circuit is explained and shown working, while producing sparks. Not only purple sparks, but also white sparks.

Thanks so much for your work Ivo. I'm finally ordering the PCB and FET's for your driver circuit tonight. I was in the midst of attempting to apply Ken Wheeler's understanding of field perturbations practically to a radiant power system when I found your channel. Your explanations of Steinmetz's work and your own explorations have been very helpful. I'm working completely open source (and pretty much full time now) too so if that forum ever approves my application I'll likely jump in and share a couple results on your thread. Keep up the genius my friend, you're at the forefront (at least of those of us who are not keeping it to ourselves)!

@@MasterIvo thankyou. I think you've worked out the best modern switching circuit that currently exists (ordered!), so I'm now focussing on exploring the effects of Rodin Interference coils instead of bifilar pancake coils in a similar circuit and experimenting with how to tune a collector to act as the initial resonant power source (similar to Teslas Radiant Energy patent collectors but using our better understanding of material mass differentials and diamagnetic insulation to be able to tune them more easily and gain higher amplitude without raising as high).

Interesting, would be nice to see your results on KZfaq. I am working on a project of a few years back. It is the half bridge circuit. Back then I intended to have alternating polarity voltage impulses, one per half period. But I learned it is was not possible to generate them. I also knew I needed current impulses, instead of voltage impulses. it's like an energy pump, displacement current into and out of the resonant system.

If you have the capacitor at the same capacity as the coil has inductance so like " 1uH to 1uF. You can tune them or pules them at 9uS very easily and Make the secondary coil Twice The inductance of the Primary. You can could oscillate the secondary more efficiently Throughout the entire system.

excellent information. another good tip for winding fast coils is put some mono fishing line next to the wire when you wind the secondary. it gives some interwinding spacing that changes the Q in our favour... you are correct in that looser coupling will afford a better match on the impulse. try another primary with a bit of stand off from the secondary.

Interesting! slowly, I finally understand what you do and did. the pulse generation and utilization method is great, you're using the inductive spike caused by instant shut down of the current to your advantage. Looking at all those fe inventions, I think you're almost there. I am seeing Don Smith in this set-up, but without a (custom) HV cap diode bridge and (resonant) step down transformer on the resonant coil yet, also he (and others) uses less turns probably for a lower self-oscillation freq, like 50/60cps?

Ivo, as always excellent and informative. Let me offer an additional line of investigation. Since L1 takes the place of Tesla’s spark gap intended to provide unidirectional impulses, decouple it from L2 and L3. Additionally, drive it such that after the negative impulse is completed it fires again immediately. Then re-tune L2 and L3. I think you will like the result. What you are after is that gaseous white flow along the length of the secondary. You might consider top loads at the ends of the secondary with the tungsten rods coming off of the end loads. Finally, you may need to make the primary and secondary coupling looser than it currently is. Most Tesla coils use a pretty loose coupling between primary and secondary as I’m sure you are aware.
@MasterIvo
@MasterIvo Жыл бұрын
If I decouole L1 from L2 it will reduce efficiency, but I can do that. but to fire L1 again directly after the impulse is impossible as it first needs time to charge upnits magnetic field again, to be able to produce the impulse. Retuning L2 and L3 is also possible. what result do you expect?

Is L1 being driven with DC from the driver? If so, you can tell when the magnetic field is charged by monitoring the voltage across L1, when it becomes the steady state value the magnetic field is fully charged. Alternatively, you can measure L1’s time constant and use that as the basis. With regard to top loads, a pair of Bundt pans fastened together give a nice toroidal shape.

nice vid - thanks. the 180nf cap to a very small inductive coil is a very bad idea, i think. as you may well know the q of a resonant tank, is a match where the cap must have a value that contains the same amount of energy as the coil. if you differs from that value the q of the tank, will go down. in your case, it must be very low. during my experiments i have found one of the main principles behind free energy, i think. namely making everything resonant and with as high qs as possible.

Efficient disassociation of H20 would change the world very quickly? There are a number of examples where water with sodium is used to make hydrogen via exposure to RF. Also reports of 2 inch beam radar on navy ships setting water on fire when it strikes the water. It might be possible using the right catalysts to make efficient hydrogen with a high efficiency circuit. Sodium might be a start. I Guess in case i understood [ Scalar wave ] to be a wave that is (fluctuating but always) equally positive as it is negative. (1(00)v+ plus 1(00)v- is zero) (and that untapped potential is everywhere around as per N. Tesla: a sea of abundant energy) What i recall from Don Smith is he said something like he is "Splitting the positive". Guess that means something like (center?) tapping (into) that scalarwave and splitting the Voltage part as well as the Amperage part from each other. Make it do some work and then ( putting it back together) Is there something you find true in that recollection and guess-work? ----- ----- I understand, on an abstract level; Get a hammer, Ring Bell 1, tune Bell 2 to the tune of Bell 1 and it resonates with it without being struck. and Bell 1 is not being taxed for it because the ringing of Bell 1 is only output as it got its input from the hammer. Tune all other bells to the tune of Bell 1 and they all ring without any extra effort. and tap into that with Diodes; Getting a [ neutral ] and a [ positive ] In the case of N.Tesla; i think the wardencliffT is Bell 1, and all the non-bell-1 Bells are household appliances, cars, etc. that all are intune with Bell 1. or to a harmonic of it. The magnetic field is what surrounds a coil when the electric field collaps. The dielectric field is "around" the dielectric material(insulator) of a capacitor. For what i came to understand after all these years is that the magnetic and dielectric are both "componants or behaviours" of the electric field... A bit like the chicken and the egg thing... Wich one came first, you know. Having all these different terms for what seems to be one phenomena is miss leading for me. Strong dielectric field = capacitor what happens around the insulator/dielectric material Strong magnetic field = magnets or coil/right hand rule Electric field = both? A "field" becomes electric if it is electrified and it involves both previous field, but what one comes first is not the question to ask. You see where i am going? I dont really know much more and im certain i am missing or even mistaking on some stuff... Ssoo lmk if it helped and i certainly am into learning more about it.

@@bobann3566 I just dont see how you can have one without the other. IS all I am saying. So they are all the same just converted between each other into different "states" for example voltage can be converted to amps by dropping volts with the use of resistance/load. Maybe if anything the dielectric is the dimensions of the magnetic field based on potential/volts input. Steinmetz is one i need to research...So by losing volts to convert the potential to amps means the state of which the energy was resting has been changed. There is such a thing as a standing wave basically Volts with "ZERO" current

@@mykedoes4099 It's like the analogy of water, ice, steam. They are all one thing at different frequencies or pressure modalities. Water is the aether. Ice is the aether accelerated/voltage/potential/inertia and steam is the aether as force and motion/amps It's the other way around according to Steinmetz, he says the magnetic field is the field of the dielectric. What really helped me understand the concept was looking at their geometry. The Magnetic field we know is a Torus. So I went to Google images and looked up torus, toroid, toroidal. What I found in the center of the toroidal field was a Hyperboloid which I also looked up in Google Images. The Hyperboloid is the geometry of the Dielectric and the obvious source of the toroidal field. That is how the Magnetic field is the field of the dielectric. a They are all one thing under different pressures.

Interesting to see that sparks don't go direct between electrode points, shouldn't the shortest way be best to discharge, perhsps only the first microsecond....here we see it's not the direct way later. The indirect route could be that the dark matter be overcome or circled around or the forces (Coriolis, Gravity) on our planet or it's atmospheric conditions of gases and humidity be involved even this short distance of a couple of centimeters or that hot air is not a good media for electricity seeking lower resistance ? Nice model you can move the primary coil over its secondary tubewinded, the center setup like shown it's logic to be the location of least amount of input power with longest distance of spike or voltage output open (sparks). Sirs, what I know from weather cience athmosperic knowledge is that a mass of air retains similar composition característica. On the borders to other mass there is a pressure increase a slide up or sideways and sometimes the mass of air is dispersed by absorbtion and mix into the new area it is moving in.
@oliverwesener584
@oliverwesener584 Жыл бұрын
A larger mass of air has similar composition properties and behaves by not mixing right away into the surounding or other air masses and when moving over land or sea creating fronts that have sliding up or under característica (warm and cold fronts respectively) due to weight/density of air. To see air now as micro bubbles makes air less coherent to act as a mass of air in the larger weather area term, meaning is it really only that what bends sparks ? Doing the experiment of discharging among "electrode terminals" inside of a vacuum crystal burned/ broken light bulb for instance one could touch the other terminal also outside and demonstrate if the air bubbles remaining (ver few I guess) is the cause of this irregular path, all sparks should be straight now !

@@devinmccloud As a matter of fact, after having read the patent, I’m that much more confident in the assertion that the device was, indeed, intended to be used inversely to how they are built today.

@Master Ivo,,, just logic about tesla coils, tesla coils was not invented by tesla just to see and play the spark discharges on the air, this is a power generating coils that generates from small power to high frequency and high volts...why dont you try to add an L4 coil with large gauge wire and act as and tertiary coil and your L3 one line will be grounded and try to test your tertiary coil what will be the output current and voltage...i can assure you, you'll be amaze the output power which far away u can imagine..

I did. Voltage and current become in phase in this extra coil, but not real power.

@@MasterIvo think of the resonance as resistive reflections in mercury current, this 'inductive field' i will call it, that you have flowing between the windings would accelerate off each other like pushing magnets against each other, matching size with flow. imagine something you spin like a spinning top and then it keeps generating without friction. a lamp that doesnt stop until you brake the spinning top and much more. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/abyEmbKJuZ-ZlZs.html earlier comment: "i think you are finding the correct proportions for a vajra, short side long side, central toroid."

@@MasterIvo Amazing. V & I in phase, yet no power? why? does a load detune the system (in which case calculating the load as part of the system could work?)? or is it flat out impossible to extract the power?

@@juanmf I suspect the current is not conventional magnetic current. Instead it is a dielectric displacement current.

Hi I need to make a flat coil that resonates at 300 hz on it's own so I can attach it to a sine wave generator. Is there an easy way to check after how many spins of wire will the coil generate 300 hz? And does it matter how big the center opening is? Thanks in advance

that will be one very large coil at that frequency. there are online coil calculators
