no... Boston Dynamics bot only does what its programmed to do lol, it's not autonomous, it doesn't know where it is, that's why every parkour video that came with Atlas is because it took forever to program it to do all these parkour movements.

It has Artificial intelligence to identify how to balance the weights etc. it's not like you are going to just feed a animation and it's gonna do it. It doesn't work like that. The robots have to figure out how to do it in real life. Don't underestimate Boston Dynamics they are the leading robotics company right now. Tesla Robots are not even close to Honda's robot tbh 💀 and the new Figure 1 makes it shit it's pants 💀

It takes multiple attempts to get one scene right, and they also have to be keyframed they don't have any brain or artificial intelligence of any kind and their battery only lasts an hour not to mention all the hydraulic failures they have. Making a robot dance like a human and do backflips is one thing but making a robot that's general and practical is another.

Boston Dynamics Atlas is a research platform for humanoid-based robotics It is not meant to be a practical robot and Atlas does not have complete autonomy and It only has an hour battery life. Tesla bot is not as agile or as fast but it is physically stronger than Atlas and Tesla bot actually has hands it can use to manipulate things with and it actually has a brain but currently this brain cannot grant a Tesla bot complete autonomy yet because they are still prototypes and still trying to figure everything out so in terms of autonomy it's about on par with Atlas right now. The point of Tesla bot is to be a tool not a toy and for a robot to be general and do things like work It does not need to be doing backflips everywhere it goes. So let's see the Tesla bot He's not as fast or as agile but it is stronger it's going to be more intelligent and more sturdy because you don't want your robot having hydraulic failures every 10 minutes and the Tesla bot currently does have a more advanced vision and object recognition system.

Interesting if will be possible to give tasks for robot. Like near fridge stay daily tasks on paper, could be given tasks to robot, and it need to solve them in perfevtly accurate ways how it need human or possibly in coopeation with Smart Home
