My Name is not important and i filming while driving cars. It makes no difference whether it is a super sports car or an old car or an electric car. With 2 cameras on board, I take you on a ride at maximum acceleration.
( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ) and test drives on German Autobahn. Please note, Germany is the country of "no speed limit" highways / Autobahn. So in the most places, it's allowed to drive top speed. Rule Nr. 1: don't try this if you are not an experienced driver ! If you enjoy give a like and subscribe for more videos :-)

i find the wind noise on a smooth european highway actually quite pleasing. Where the 3 really sucks is these rough australian (or probably also USA) rural highways. and tbh on the autobahn all cars get windnoise at 200kmh.

If you get the rear spoiler they will remove the limiter and you can go 260kmh.

@xeno krebs ich glaub nicht. Die ersten Performance Model 3 hatten keinen Spoiler, da konnte er nachgerüstet werden und Topspeed wurde freigeschaltet. Beim LR geht das ziemlich sicher nicht. Macht aber auch nix, 230kmh sollten reichen😅

I’ve owned an M4 (back in 2014) MS100D and currently own an MX100D and a Model 3 long range. After about 70 mph the M4 is in a different league - however, Performance Tesla’s are quicker and the Plaid will just be stupidly quick

the Model 3 is actually exactly the same going from 70mph to 200km/h as the (last gen) m4. If the m4 has to downshift the model 3 is actually quicker. people get confused with all these stupid carwow videos where they race those cars to 250km/h +. That is just very unrealistic on any road but a racetrack. Even on the Autobahn these days its so congested that 200km/h for short periods is all you will see....

@@kingprone7846 There is just no way a Model 3 will ever keep up with an M3 or M4 on the autobahn. You're typically already going around 120-140 when the drivers start to floor it. Plus it's not like a "3 ..2..1..." countdown next to eachother. You will always have a preparation period where a car in front of you has to pull over first to clear the road.. and depending on the time of day it is VERY realistic to have 250kmh races on the Autobahn.

@@nomansland120 no its not. go actually drive with us in germany and then we take it from there. Flooring it at 120 the m3 will still struggle to keep up with the model 3. its weaker on paper to start with.

@@kingprone7846 I live in Germany and drive aprox. 30,000km solely on the Autobahn per year. I am well aware of the conditions on the Autobahn and like I siad, depending on the time of day and location it's very possible to go 250 for longer stretches. Source: I do so myself. And no, the M4/m3 will not struggle to keep up with the Model 3. It will smoke it after 120kmh. If you don't believe me why don't you look up the thousands of videos online showing this.

@@nomansland120 the m3 struggels hard to keep up with the model 3 during normal driving on the Autobahn. and you are not going 250km/h on long stretches on the Autobahn. everyone can lie to themselves.

honestly the centre screen is pretty good. maybbbbeeee a hud would have been nice but elon hates huds for some reason. Tbh everyone expected that the refresh S would just have the centre screen and maybe a hud. That it had the second screen was a complete surprise to everyone and it sort of made the model 3 feel quite gimped.

It seems about as fast after 200km/h as a 190hp Skoda Diesel. Giving the weight the Model 3 has I'll say we'll looking about 280-300 hp´s to the wheels, nowhere near 460hp. Whats your take?

Does a 190 hp tdi also do 0-100 in sub 4 seconds? It's just the lack of a transmission that makes it lose its punch at high speeds, but 260 kmh on the new models should still be enough for most people

@@wasabi2103 More than just lack of transmission. It would damage the battery to continuously discharge fast necessary to produce over 300hp. That's why 4860 cells with tabless cooling design is exciting.

@@maerklin29800 he said AFTER 200kmh, read what you are commenting on. And he isnt that far from truth. If you watch Bjorn Nylands Videos you will see how the power output is about 350hp at 230kmh, which means power at the wheels is a bit less.

@@AkaiKA4K no, thats not the reason why it is slower at top end. It is slower because of electric field weakness. Every motor has a peak power rpm, after that it will start to decrease. You can mitigate it with the use of a gearbox (Taycan) or more motors with different gearings (Plaid). For the cheapest Tesla there was simply no use for a gearbox or different gearing, as speeds above 200kmh arent relevant for 99% for the buyers worldwide but it would add complexity, weight and cost.

Just raced a W204 C63 with my M3 LR in the rain on a twisty Autobahn, he couldn't outrun the Tesla.. Tesla's power is just so accessible! Admittedly Model 3's weakness is its lack of body composition in fast corners if there are bumps, it can be scary when pushed harder than 90% at over 200km/h. I feel that the car needs stronger damping and more camber in the rear.

acceleraton boost makes no difference above 60km/h or so. In fact the LR AWD is usually slightly faster than the Model 3 performance flooring it from 80km/h to 200 km/h for whatever reason....

@@kingprone7846 nah it isnt. Its just media outlets ignoring to check the battery temps, which have a large impact on power output. Then they activate track mode which cools down the batter, of the performance and it will have less power. Ignorance.

it is like CVT in Toyota. great for low speed and around town as there is no shifting and very smooth but not designed for high speed.

@@victorc.979 i own a Long Range. Peak power is about 360kw. I am curious on what you base your opinion? The acceleration at higher speeds? Then read what electric field weakness does at high motor rpm to understand why this car can perfectly have 460hp peak power and still lose acceleration power at higher speeds.

Top end is so slow compared to new performance cars example new M3, M4 that will pull like hell all the way to near 300 kmh limited.

@@yourdailyknowledge_ I don't think so. Model 3P is probably faster from 0 to 70 mph but after that the mid range punch from M3/4 is very strong whilst Model 3P starts to run out of breath. They are also similar in terms of 1/4 race from 0 mph start, but Tesla has no chance in rolling race against new M3/4 with over 510bhp and better traction than last gen.

For the first time ever, i like a bmw driver... Making fun of that gay toy with no car standards at all, including safety ( they paid for the green), no performance feeling and cornering, and a cheating battery life and autonomy, no soul at all. Only "different" people would buy that to get mocked.
