Thanks so much for sharing. Took the car to the service center to fix the window getting stuck and now I have wind noise due to bad window alignment.

Thanks, my drivers side rear glass needed a nudge backwards to be in alignment with the other side. I only noticed it when installing clearplex on the corner windows and OCD kicked in haha. Fairly easy job. Your video and a couple other videos made me more confident to saving my self an appointment/trip to get it knocked out. I only had like 2 alignment things that were 1/8th or 1/16th out. Impressed with the mechanisms over some past cars I've had. Much easier design.

Very helpful video. My door was driving me crazy because there was a clicking sound that I would hear anytime driving over bumps. I took the panel apart so many times trying to find it. Then I noticed that the passenger side window was sitting much higher than the driver side. So I followed your video, lowered the glass; and now the sound is gone. Seems that since the glass was sitting so high that it was tapping against something inside of the door.

I am with you.... I got wind noise too, too it to SC and they refuse to do any adjustment, said the noise level is within spec. WTF!

Nice work. Its a shame that owners have to adjust their own doors and windows for proper alignment. Ive seen crap, destructive work from the SC's. Glad im a DIY guy, too, because you can't rely on anybody these days to do good work.

Hey thank you! Worked for me. The only thing is that mine is a 2018 Model 3 LR and it wasn't a 27 Torx it was a #30. Cheers!

You should be moving the glass around to fit the opening with the door closed and tightening it in position with the door closed. Think about it, the factory workers are not going thru this trial and error process. This is the factory procedure for most frameless glass.

In theory. I would like to take the door panel completely off to accomplish what you’re talking about.

What screw i need to turn for Angle fitting? as mine is hitting the door pilar when closing

Would this possibly help with wind noise? I’ve already tried adjusting the glass closer to the seal

logically, I can unscrew those 2 screws to take out the glass directly? I'm planning to remove them to take it back to home for tinting.

Did you adjust up and down or just side to side?

Is this a fix for window noise? If I nudged it up a bit

You would think Tesla tests for wind noise. Bastards need to pressure test!

WHY? NOT WATCHING FOR OVER 12 MINUTES TO FIND OUT, THAT'S WHAT THE DESCRIPTION IS FOR.

You removed the the aftermarket door seals? What happened? I added them to my 2022 Model 3 and they reduced the noise of going through puddles and slushy snow A TON. Didn't help much with high speed noise. EDIT: Great videos. Thank you! New subscriber.
