Question, did the radio mess with your automatic headlights? I installed mines and noticed that my headlights are on all the time. I switched back to my old Uconnect and they worked normal.

Nice video!! Did you connnect this system to the stock camera on your truck or did you buy their camera??? Also, does your GPS button launch GPS navigation or Google Maps? Mine launches google maps and I can´t figure how to change this... What about the dimmer, does it auto dim when you turn on your headlights? Last, does your display engine rev and speed, if yes how did you connect it to the OBD??? Thanks!!!

The videos are great! Question- i was thinking about purchasing one of these. I have an 07 escalade with factory rear screens. Do you think this Tesla screen will be able to video out to the rear screens? As in, maybe though setting and then display.... any help would be appreciated.

Hey I have a question about this radio. I bought it for my 2015 Ram Express 1500 and the radio works great so far. However, the Wi-Fi is unbelievably slow. It took about an hour for a 22.50 MB update. I'm wondering if this is a common problem or if my radio is faulty. I tried re-adjusting the little Wi-Fi antenna on the back of the stereo a few times and nothing seems to help. And it does have a good strength connection. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Jrbrass nav is google maps, you can buy a dongle that will allow you to use android auto, or apple CarPlay, you just download an app and install it. You can also download other mapping programs, basically any android nav app. You will need to use your phone as a hot spot. Hope this helps.

@@1BYEBYE1 not that I'm aware of, the dongle plugs into the USB port and the USB cable for the phone plugs into it, then, of course, your phone plugs into that. I wish it could be wireless tho.

Great video. On my unit it goes to the navigation screen as the default when it starts up. Does yours do the same or is the an option to change it?

Can you load music onto the internal storage? My ram had a “charge only” USB port so I can’t use a flash drive for music.

How did your new taillights connect to your stock harness? I notice you have the same headlights as me. The reflector quad lights, which means we don't have the led taillights from the factory. Did you have to buy a special harness for the new taillights to work with your truck? Thanks!

when you backup the marks for the rear camera turn side to side as you move the steering wheel like with the factory radio? or stays straight like in your video? I am about to pull the trigger and get one for my 2014 1500 but I am very accustomed to use those marks that move as I move the steering wheel.

I have been watching other vids of these displays. Lot of them seem to have music skipping when you have navigation going at the same time. Have you been experiencing that?

Hey I don't blame you bro!!! I am a "CHROMIE" too!!! Although the Matt black or satin black looks good. I like MY glitz and bling on my ride 😎👍 and yes you cant do too much chrome just enough!!! I also limo tinted my car (illegal on the front) and it looks sweet I love it!!! The only thing is I have to roll my window down when I'm backing up even with a backup cam, you cant see anything inside the car lol

Did your truck come with factory LEd tails ? the link you posted for the new taillights are listed to only be compatible with factory LED tails ..... Can I run these on a truck that was factory halogen/incandescent ? thanks!!

any idea how to fix the temperature units. I set to us and the mph changes to kmh on the dash. i have setting on the unit set to F , MPH and US .. the dash corrects itself when I change it back to metric but the ac temp on the unit changes back to Celcius

Still recommended a year later? I was about to buy a 2 din pioneer for close to the same price as this. I'm a little worried about if it can interact with the car's built in sensors.. For example, the pioneer can interact with the cars built in SYNC and display air pressure for each tire, even though the car itself only shows a warning light on low pressure. I'd like to gain features instead of lose them at this pricepoint.. Even if I can install the iDatalink or Maestro to retain functionality

I bought this unit following your reviews. I think the caveats are worth it. However, it doesnt work as well as yours does ?? I got mine from phoenix audio. My engine speed and vehicle speed dont work. Not a big deal at all. Is there a way to have spotify or google play app show up in the top menu bar? My BIGGEST issue though, is that my auto lights (daytime night time) seem to be stuck on nighttime ?? I have to turn my lights to the off switch got the screen to go back to "day" mode

You never showed full screen video, KZfaq etc. Want to know how much of the screen gets filled when your watching a video. Looked like the full screen mode was in the lower left corner of the video on your install video.

I installed this same tesla screen on my Ford Focus....love it. But the date I cant change, and the time is always PM or AM the opposite of my time. Ive tried to go into settings and correct it, but it goes right back to this Chinese time zone setting. Drives me nuts! And the screen resolution when the Sun is directly over the dashboard is bad. I cant increase the brightness anymore. Wish someone can help me with tips.

That is not the outside temperature, if you pay attention, never changes. I believe is from the unit but I don't know, I have the same unit

This units handles high temperatures very well. I live in so cal and no issues so far. I use to install a tablet in my last car and temperature was a big big problem so I gave up. Now this unit works fine in my truck.

Jay, I got the Tesla stereo for my Ram. I love it! I have a question about the Bluetooth. Everyone I talk to says that they are echoing very badly. Have you experience this problem? This has been the only issue I've had. Also, btw, thank you for the install video. I watched it before I installed and had it in, in about 10 minutes.

Got a 2016 yellow Sport 4x4. I love this radio you have. What would look great on your truck is a "cop style" push bumper. I have one on my sport and I get lots of compliments on it. I keep it mint showroom condition, including the engine area.

Hello, I have a 2014 ram with a px3 7.1 unit, sometimes the screen format changes and the air conditioning controls disappear due to a green button on the left and red on the right of the bluetooh, the image of the ram constantly changes due to others car models, what is the difference between ram hi and ram low, that is, manual ac and automatic ac, how could I resolve this conflict? Hey man having some issues with the USB port and also some other questions. Pretty much doing the same upgrades you did just way to many wires not much help online.
