===
0:00 Intro
4:46 Why is Optimus the best humanoid robot in the world?
6:16 Why is Optimus Robot a massive profit generator?
10:43 Why does Optimus have so much to overcome?
===
Just Happened! Elon Musk Confirmed Tesla Optimus Gen 2 Produced At $10K Price To Work At GigaTexas. As expected, Optimus robot will be developed to Gen 3 with many unbelievable improvements, Elon Musk likened it to become C3PO robot in "Star Wars" in the real world.
Just Happened! Elon Musk Confirmed Tesla Optimus Gen 2 Produced At $10K Price To Work At GigaTexas. But this is not the biggest surprise that Musk just talked about Tesla's humanoid robot in the 2024 Annual Stockholder Meeting, what shocked the whole industry is that Tesla can produce this robot for only $ 10,000 and there will be thousands of Optimus working in the factory by 2025, crazy numbers, its selling price was also confirmed once again through Musk.
Just Happened! Elon Musk Confirmed Tesla Optimus Gen 2 Produced At $10K Price To Work At GigaTexas. So how can Tesla do this and what did Elon Musk say about the robot development plan? When can we buy one? All will be revealed right now

Please notice that robots + AI are excellent _producers_ but there has never been any suggestion from anyone that 'they' 'want' to _consume_ anything. We give them electricity, but there is no 'desire' in them. Desire and consumption are where we, the humans, really shine. 😊 An economy needs both producers and consumers, and the latter is our destiny. Just my 2c.

@@TeslaCarWorld - many people use AI voiceovers & they do not create proper engagement with an audience. The video itself has Elon speaking and that creates an engaged listener. Using AI voiceovers have a robotic cadence, and it numbs the listener in my opinion. Maybe you cannot afford a proper voiceover actor, which I believe is true for those who use AI voiceovers. It may be more economical to go that way however, when I hear it, I usually exit the video fairly quick as I did with this one. Also, I would never subscribe to a channel that uses it and I don’t think I’m alone with that thought.

I am in charge of testing new technology to see what can go in each year. I am used to nice marketing pitch by now, but the manufacturing field is very hard to work in. And how are you even managing safety in there????? But hey, we were supposed to have full self driving vehicule in 2018 or something like that, with a gigantic fleet of robot taxi by now. None of those are there. Don't get me wrong, I am not a Musk hater, he did great things at an amazing pace. But... I think he is talking though his ass on this one. The same way he did when he said in 2016ish that his Tesla factories would be fully automated, no humain around, by 2020. I was like, "Etheir he knows something that I don't, or he will have a nice surprise with cables (softbody manipulation)". 5 years later, I saw an interview of him saying "Yeah, cables are hard, and humans are very good at that, we still need humans." On paper, this is great! I'm a bit puzzled at the lack of concern over what it all mean to us, once autonomous robots can be produced this cheaply. Human civilization would be entering completely uncharted territories. Think about it, human societies distributing resources (food, money, power, what have you), base on what one individual can DO. We bicker about what criterias, and the mechanisms to use for the distribution (capitalism, socialism, monarchy, democracy etc), we have never known any way of distribution that's not based on what one can produce and contribute. What exactly will one do, when everything, from manufacturings to human services, are done by robots? It's all very well to speculate about Universal Income, but that's just another different means of distribution, which won't solve the fundamental problem: how exactly will the government or the corporations get any income to be redistributed, when nobody will have a job, and therefore no money, to pay them to begin with? We're talking about the uprooting of everything we've ever known about operating and organize ourselves, and major, major social upheaval to come, as a result of that. It's mind boggling that nobody seem to be slightly worrying about this.

well said, i feel the downsides will far outweigh the upsides, people worry about cheap immigrant labor. but that pales in comparison to robots. Who is gonna have the money to pay for the goods they produce..... if so many are laid off and the labor rate is reduced by the cheap robot labor. It would be great however if it was used in a smart way, say the govt bought and used them to help take care of an aging society instead of wasting our money
@terrytyang
@terrytyang 5 күн бұрын
@@tamenyc Except the problem here, is not about the degree of autonomous, or how cheap the robots will be produced. Rather, it's the way we are willing to rush headlong towards this goal, without much serious consideration about the consequences that would surely follow. Sure, things will sort itself out in the end, but there's no guarantee it would be an outcome that will be in our (as an speice) favor. It would be entirely too late to draft laws preventing proliferation of nuclear weapon, after a mushroom cloud became visible in the distance.

What difference does it make if we are replaced by robots. Once technology advanced enough it will happen. Instead of trying to fight against the inevitable, why not focus on what's important? Trying to make the transition to robot as smooth and less painful as possible so that the human race doesn't suffer for it. Sure most job will be gone but new one will replace it. You can argue that it will make us lose our meaning of existence if all job can be done by robot, but do we as a race really have to exist just to work? Why can't we exist just to pursue our dreams? Space exploration, finding the cure to all disease, life extension, cleaning up the Earth before we turn into a real Wall-e planet. There so many important things that we could be doing but we can't because everybody is too focus on survival, making money, and profit. I rather we advance to where boredom will be our driving force of existence than our current system where everybody is fighting each other for survival. Once all madane task are handle by robot, our main line of work would be finding ways to entertain ourselves.

An AI will use patterns of key combinations matched with a requested or assumed mood for the melody to achieve the same result. Did you no 90% of what we create individually contains fragments of something or has been created somewhere else? Most of our "creative thinking" is not original. We are just rehashing ideas and putting something different into it and hoping it works out. AI does the same thing only it is more up front about "this is the process".
