I am not a Canadian, but married to a Canadian. I have watched several dance skating of these two lovely souls and I love them both. As I am watching Tessa’s speech, I can’t help my self not to cry because the speech is so intense. I wish my husband is still alive so we can watch this video together and for sure, he will become proud not only as a Canadian but proud of having these two young souls became a hero of their country. I have noticed that Marie-France husband looks like my husband at a first glance. Teary eyed as I missed my husband so much.

Although I’ve never met Tessa irl I truly never acknowledged any woman like her. She’s the closest to an angel. Not only that but she’s so hardworking, dedicated, driven, strong, and beautiful inside & out. She deserves the world! 🥺

As I am watching this video a while ago about the ceremony on Canada's Walk Of Fame I cant' help but feel sad and shed tears for these two wonderful couple who are now retired. Tessa's speech was full of emotion, love and gratitude to her family, to Scot, her coaches,teachers friends and to all who in one way or another made their journey in ice skating a memorable and successful one. Tessa is an inspiration not only to women but to everyone. The way she spoke denotes breeding, intelligence and elegance. Through their hard work, perseverance and dedication they have reaped the fruits of success. The legacy she left will shine forever. Great things happened to great people. They may now be retired but they will remain in my heart forever. My wish is that although they have now separate life their friendship and their closeness with each other will remain They should not be drifting apart. I just want you to be happy in what ever undertaking you may have. Congrats, God Bless you two and thanks for your legacy. From a fan from the Philippines.

Tessa and Scot are so sweet, humble, talented, and ice dancer. They both have a magical exceptional chemistry. So sad they parted in different journey of their personal life. No doubt they will missed each other magical chemistry in real life.! It breaks my heart to see them going to different direction at the end of their career.! I guess all good things come to an end. What a wonderful 22 years they had together. The fans were hoping for a fairytale ending. Let's hope we get to see them publicly in the future commenting, judging and sharing their expertise on ice dance. Their talent is incomparable, no only are they the greatest ice dancers of their generation, they are also great spokespersons and role models. Hoping they will make appearances for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
