Does the GPS work wireless through Bluetooth? Or do you need to always connect the phone to the motorcycle by usb cable? Thanks!

@@flyphil62 are they planning to make it bluetooth workable without the need of a cable? Can you also use the display with bluetooth without the cable now? I read that you can use it through bluetooth but not all functions would work by that. Can you tell me what you can use without the cable? Is it water resistant when cable is plugged in? Arent you scared of breaking it when raindrops get into the hole when cable is plugged in? I might buy the africa twin tomorrow but been hesitating because of that part. Thanks for your time!

@@2WheelsNoFear Without the cable you can't use Android Auto, but you can listen to music and use make call, all by using tft and handlebar controls.

Can you give me a link for what kind of cable do you use? I am loosing connection due to vibration with my cable. So if you are not experiencing any issues what so ever I would love to get something like you have.

I Have the same problem with my Samsung S21 Ultra. I tried many cables and the best I found (still have some connections loose with) is an original Samsung Cable. The Honda system is not performant, because with the same phone and any cable it's perfect in my car....

@@jobrn1 As there is no USB cable in the box with S21 Ultra I bought an original cable for charging earbuds. And when I use my old Huawei samrtphone, it works fine with all cables....

Bonjour je viens vers vous car je n’arrive pas à connecter mon téléphone en androïd sur mon africa twin de 2020 je vois que vous habitez à côté de chez moi serait-il possible de se rencontrer pour voir si vous arriverez à me connecter le téléphone sur le moto j’ai réussi la connexion Bluetooth mais impossible de faire la fonction an froid en la l’attente de votre retour

bonjour, pourquoi pas si vous êtes proches de Boulogne. Mais auparavant, n'hésitez pas a essayer plusieurs cables (et de bonne qualité). Avez vous aussi des écouteurs Bluetooth?

Bonsoir Oui j'ai des écouteurs intercom où j'ai bien réussi à jumeler apparemment il faut être en version 3,10 car la m'a version sur la moto est en 2.60 vous votre moto est en quelle version ou avez vous effectué cette mise à jour par clés USB

@@geoffreybrabant9159 ha oui c'est la base, il faut faire la mise a jour 3.1 via une clef USB. Sinon cela ne peut pas fonctionner. C'est cette mise a jour qui active Android.

@@geoffreybrabant9159 elle est mise a disposition par Honda ici: powersports.honda.com/africatwin/update/index.html?fbclid=IwAR0flxj2VFzl3OiptJ_9bjHX3alBsQ53OBtMfqrdMnWCRC4VB2Xuq_YNu0k il suffit de la télécharger et de la coller sur une clef USB. J'ai du essayer plusieurs clefs pour que cela fonctionne.... Je suis de Carly si cela ne fonctionnait pas, nous sommes voisins.
