Not being able to buy your own properties and homes is massive massive mistake. That element in the first games was super important and loved by everyone.

It definitely needs properties that’s literally one of the main things about test drive unlimited… and a offline mode would be nice

tdu wasnt just a car game, it was a pretty much a millioniare simulator, which isnt the case anymore since the didnt add properties. WE WANT HOUSES

It'll be another bad investment if the keep online only. And not being able to have houses and properties is another downgrade because having houses and going into them and the garage without loading screen made tdu 1 and 2 so great.

We want houses!! That was one of my favourite things about the old test drive. The feeling of driving up your driveway was amazing. Especially as you started in a caravan. The upgrade was mental.

Man they need to add 360 degree rotation animation. And they need to have loud car idle sounds. After the car starts up the car sounds as quiet as an electric car

Where is the odometer? It was so cool in the early days you could have a very high mileage and sell it on auction for a higher price because of that!

I thought the same thing when I saw the R35 for the first time. Something just looks off about the rear. As far as traffic goes, according to some articles, traffic density will be dependent on time of day. Heavier during the day and lighter late at night.

I used to be sooo excited for TDUSC and it was one of the reasons I got a PS5. Now, there are 4 things I don't like about this game. 1. It'll always be online. That's cool for the people who enjoy that, but there should at least be an option to play ofline. I don't enjoy playing online with other people. 2. The cars look loke they're floating at all times. There doesn't seem to be any weight to any of the vehicles. Even though the tires are touching the ground, the cars still have a hovering look to them. 3. I think the graphics look odd. Idk what it is about them, but they just look so weird to me. And 4. There's no exterior customization! (Body kits/ etc.) To me, that's a HUGE disappointment.. I've always felt like being able to personally customize my vehicle was such a great feature that also made me want to race more; being able to enhance not only my car's performance, but my car's looks.

Not having micro transactions is a HUGE PLUS for this game.

Having a game so heavilly based on multiplayer and not being cross play is a joke.

Need properties and to be able to physically go into these properties and customize them a little bit like TDU2 had. Also definitely need an offline patch so it's not always online.

No properties is a deal breaker for me, I've been really excited for this game for years, but now that's all gone..

having properties on tdu just makes sense- agree so much. i dont understand the choice to not have them at launch. another thing that is weird is if garage only has 6 slots does that mean i cant buy more than 6 cars or i can and they will go to the void like forza horizon cars? if its the second option id rather be limited to 6 cars and the developers expand the solar hotel or just make the houses with garages. makes no sense to show 6 cars but the rest go to nowhere, houses were good because they gave you space for more cars; each car deserves to be showed the same, and needing to buy properties to get more and better cars just makes the whole lifestyle thing better.

I’m 50/50 on this game. Graphic and gameplay looks solid but not having offline and properties and huge dealbreaker. I’ve played TDU1 and 2 and having that extra simulation felt great.

I really wanted to buy this game at launch, but with always online I don't have the courage. What if the game flops and the game servers shut down after a few months? I will lose access to the game soon. I hope they release an update with offline mode as soon as possible, then I'll buy it without thinking twice, I'm a big fan of Test Drive

Always online is a huge mistake , I hope they will find some way to fix it other than that it already looks different from other open world racing games ( engine sounds cough cough ) Edit : any news about the car list?

Its sad this doesnt look that good. Crew motorfest is currently my favorite car game. Its mind blowing the details they added to motorfest to make it look, feel, and sound like real cars. With a huge variety of vehicles.

Yeah! A few houses or apartments throughout the map would be cool. I don't know maybe 2/3 houses and 2/3 apartments in different parts of Hong Kong. In terms of garages I'm thinking about 8 slots and you can choose what cars you want to display so for example one week you display certain cars and next week you change the cars that are displayed if you want to do that. :)) From what I have seen in other videos we will have car customization and upgrades just not body kits. The cars will have the optional colors, rims and interior trims from factory at the dealership. Curious to see if we will have optional aerodynamic parts for car brands that offer such thing from factory: Ferrari offers different aerodynamic parts on some of there cars as well as Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, BMW (you can get different bumpers, wings, or some aerodynamic parts in carbon fiber, you have M aerodynamic parts for BMWs, Nismo parts/body kits for Nissan GT-Rs). Maybe we will have at least this option on certain cars that have this customization options from factory. But at the workshop we do have the option to choose aftermarket wheels (real brands such as BBS, Vossen I don't know what brands they have licensed for wheels), different paints from the factory ones (multiple colors to choose from and styles: metallic, glossy, matte etc), we do have a livery editor and we do have performs upgrades: transmission, brakes, suspensions, intake or whatever even exhaust (the sound of the exhaust changes if you upgrade the exhaust at the workshop). I am curious if we will have different interior customization options at the workshop as well and not only the factory options.

What I love about the properties is you have a place to store cars instead of just an infinite pocket where you can have all the cars. If you want another car, you gotta have the garage space for it. TDU 2 expounded on it where you can invite people over and decorate it to your taste.

It just feels different and more relaxed driving game and I like the locations you get to drive at.

This game seems like another online car racing game, not being able to play OFFLINE is a big no, and they really need to fix the camera, and steering wheel mistakes that came from the first game

Massive FPS drops, always online means say goodbye to preserving this game, the whole open world is built around this feature like in The Crew, adding an offline mode will be impossible. No houses, no activities in the open world, cars that take 200 hours to grind, are you serious??? This game is done

Not everyone's internet is 10/10 and there are times it is slow for no reason, or doesn't even connect despite being connected. Edit: I remember in TDU2 you could mod it, get the cop cars that you wouldn't otherwise get, set car prices to $0 etc

Of course they make this game online-only. I don’t understand the benefits of this other than it makes the job of the developers a bit easier, at the expense of customer accessibility. I would’ve loved to been able to play this game without the restriction of possible lag/interference to the experience.

What game is Missing: 1: Houses and Garages Inside them 2: Being able to walk around the Car anywhere on the Map like in BeamNG (this prob will not get added 😅) 3: Better Shadows (Must) 4: Better Lighting (Must) 5: Maybe Mirror Quality. 6: Steering Movement and Gear Shifting Needs A lot of Work. 7: Custom Plates 8: Offline Mode And Probably More Stuff, Lets hope all of these will be Fixed/Added at Launch, or added/fixed in the Updates 🫡🙏

I agree, we definitely need an offline mode and properties are a must. TDU and TDU2 , part of the enjoyment of the game is buying and doing up the house according to your taste is part of TDU.

As a fan of test drive games since early '90s I would really appreciate some basic wheel compatibility. I know that this is an arcade game rather than a Sim, but being able to drive around on my sim rig would be great as a side-fun game when taking a break from sim racing.

I love the little things so far it has so much potential so hyped. The price is actually decent too

to all yall worrying about properties, they said themselves they plan to add em post launch. sure it sucks they wont be there on launch but thank god theyre at least adding em period. and for the crossplay thing, im sure theyll work on some integration sooner or later; seeing this gameplay, im just hoping they use the excuse of being a smaller studio sparingly

Hope that car screens will display gps for more realism. Also everyone cares about houses but no one mentions how Arcady was TDU2 that emphasized on lifestyle.

They need to make it feel alive and immersive. This is where the TDU hype come from. Leaving the TDU gimmicks behind and making it just about cars would be a mistake.

Forza Horizon is a Carculture game, Testdrive is a Car Experience game. I know that doesn't make much sense, Its how you experience the cars In horizon you cant drive slow its boring that they had to add antilag to make slow driving fun. Testdrive lets you experience the roads and cars and feel great at any speed.

Great video .the progression thing will be cool . If there is enough content . There’s not going to be drift races , stunt races , taxi missions , police chases / pursuits . Cannot be a case of rinsing and repeating the same races over and over . It feels like the crew lol but the crew felt like tdu2 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm telling you the car handling looks like the crew Test Drive Unlimited was different definitely it was different it felt real it was a challenge to drive here it's way too arcade like Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is like the Crew
