Dave definitely needs more practice but in fairness, on 6:11 when you asked him to change lanes to the right, he was not clear to change lanes since there was already another car too close for him to be able to change

I'm so confused about this as well because my instructor told me to maintain speed whatsoever. In a drive test you are not supposed to brake when switching lane in order not to obstruct traffic behind. So basically if there's already substantial traffic on the right lane then it's hardly safe to change to right lane. The only option is to continue straight through the intersection.

@@pascallaw5909 Yeah..I am kind of questioning this "instructor's" ability to properly teach students how to drive. I think that if he had attempted to change lanes in that moment and the car in front of him made a sudden stop, there would be been an accident

Hello Alex, Today I checked my blind spot before turning right and missed my turn, once i realized I turned quickly right and ended up with my car a little bit on the left curb. I was lucky there was no car coming out, but it really scared me. Should I be checking my blind spot 5 minutes before i turn Right? I also have a bad habit of turning on my turn signal and starting to turn before checking my blind spot.

It sounds like you had a close call! Checking your blind spot right before turning is important, but doing so five minutes in advance might not be necessary. Try to break the habit of turning before checking your blind spot to ensure your safety and avoid similar situations in the future. Stay safe on the road!

I also break or slow down when I have the Right of way or green light, so I have time to look both ways, look in my mirrors and blind spots. I know I shouldn't.

So if the speed limit is 50 and I am going to turn, but don't have a stop sign. Should I check my blind spot 1 meter before turning. I feel if I'm checking my blind spot in any less distance I'm going to miss my turn, or there won't be enough time to check my blind spot.

@Emily-kv3uw usually you put the signal about 20 m before you turning .That’s the time that you have to check your Blindspot.! Of course you’re gonna miss your turn if you put the signal 1 m before the turn and then at the same time you’re trying to check your Blindspot Try to put the signal 20 m before then you can check and then you’re gonna concentrate on your turn 🤞
