This is really quite stunning. Build your own airplane, fly it across the Atlantic with a couple of friends, land in the U.S., and continue around the globe. And I thought my 300 mile xcountry in a C-150 was something!😂 Safe travels to you JP and friends, will definitely be continuing to follow your KZfaq channel.

This is so damn cool. You built a plane! I really admire what you put out on KZfaq, even if it isn't very often. You're one of the people on here who live your interesting life, and then share it with the world. Not a dime-a-million influencer. And the edit is superb.

I also don't think there much in life that can top building your own kit airplane all by yourself and flying it around the world ... what a dream! If I had two choices to 1. get a private jet including being able to maintain and fly it or 2. get a chance (time and money) to build a single engine plane kit myself (with an experienced assistant that watches and keeps me from messing things up) and get all the experience to learn down to every wire in the avionics, I would totally go for that - that feeling of flying something you build, understand and modified to your own needs is unbeatable. Also the challenge to fly a small plane around the world vs. a pressurized jet is a drastic difference. For one you need tons of little steps, planning, knowledge, experience and patience if the weather isn't right, while for the jet you just need basic training and off you go, reaching your destination in a flash. Congratulations to make this dream come true and the best of luck and joy to you from Germany
