I’ve had this pruner for several years, and it’s worked well. However, I can’t get the telescoping feature to lock securely anymore. No matter how much I tighten it, the telescope extends. Any suggestions how to fix? Many thanks.

I use a Corona pole saw all the time UNLESS I absolutely cannot get to the limb while it's on the pole. I use it to prune limbs at the root - it just seems easier to use both hands and upper body instead of one hand and arm. Also you can really prolong the blade if you periodically spray it with WD-40 during the day and at the end of the day, brush all the sawdust off and lubricate it with real oil (NOT WD-40). This keeps the blade from rusting.

I needed to tell you, I am going to be buying my first pruner for the first time ever. I saw this brand and came to KZfaq hoping to see someone show themselves using the product. This was the first video I chose, and I need not watch another. Your description and attention to detail has really helped my confidence in the product as well as my ability to use the product. We live in an apartment on a 5plex. I've been doing all of the landscaping around our unit for years but I can't prune the overgrown trees. Would you believe the family that owns this property, as well as the property management company that manages this property (same empire), are minority owners of the team that won the Stanley Cup this year, the Vegas Golden Knights? Next time use a real harness. Better safe than sorry. That strap isn't going to help in a fall.
