Adam digs up an incomplete Iron Man Mark I armor costume out of his shop's deep storage and gets to work building out this suit and getting wear at a future convention. This replica was nicely sculpted and cast, and is a great base for Adam's upgrades, including adding a light-up arc reactor and mechanized magneto generator prop in the back of the suit! It's a lot of fun scratch building and kitbashing of parts to make it look like something Tony Stark would've made in the film! (Stick to the end for a bonus mini-build too!)

@@coulombicdistortion1814 Nice! Don't need a cylindrical one for the lathe - I think Adam owns a collet chuck. The octo-collet block would be neat! For a brain bender, a penta-collet block... it wouldn't have parallel opposite sides to grip the vice jaws.

Yet we can't even charge a cell phone to 100% in under ten minutes! If they would've actually used Tesla's technology that they stole from him when he died everything would be wireless and just be 100% from the air all the time, but that wasn't profitable enough. You know how much better and so much further our society would be if we weren't so fkn greedy! Its actually really sad, everyone thinks Edison was this genius inventor when all he did was steal other people's work to make $ he literally never had an idea of his own and people praise him for being an innovator when he was merely a back stabbing, lying, cheating, slimy, typical, businessman!

This absolutely blows my mind, this world is crazy and beautiful. To use as little words as possible, I’ve been improving my education at home and I’ve found that the human brain is such a powerful powerful tool. So I’ve been studying rigorously and have developed myself into a student. I absolutely love learning new things and using my brain and body to its maximum potential because I believe we are so robust and powerful. Without giving you the whole story in a comment, many coincidences have led me to believe that there’s something out there guiding me to follow a certain path of knowledge. After movies with my girlfriend and lots of learning/unlearning myself I figured if I’m gonna be building all types of stuff anyways with my extremely creative mind I might as well build the iron man suit. And after some short research and so many coincidences I found in my research. I need to build the suit, I know I will build the suit. at the moment I’m learning the fundamentals of mechatronics at home and I’ve been seeking a deeper understanding and a better way of learning more hands on. Maybe another coincidence that you found that armor and made this video and I’d figure I’m gonna build the suit and pursue an intense education to get there all at the same time. I know I will build the suit, I know we’re all capable of doing so, I would like to ask your advice if you stumbled across this comment. I would like to hear your thoughts on the suit and how might someone come across the education, funding, and resources to build it. Longer than I’d hoped but needed some detail to add flavor

Magneto is the spinny bit of an electric motor or generator both of which are also called magnetos. All I can say is, after watching Adam for many, many years, I wish he lived closer to me and that we could be friends because not only is he a genius at building things, he seems like a genuinely cool person and I'm sure he would be absolutely awesome to hang out (and eat snacks) with.

Adam you have no idea how much i love watching your work and wish i was there working on it with you.....and the fact that someone else knows how to use the clutch on a battery drill is awesome.

Adam cracks me up. Every time he’s working close and he drops his chin practically against his chest so that can look over the top of his frames! Haha!

the ending of this video truly shows Adam is passionate about his projects, he could've ended the video where intended too said jobs done send it to the editor and thats another check in the bank but instead he stopped filming and immediately thought of a way to expand it even further purely out of passion and motivation you are a marvel Adam you have more energy and motivation than I do and I'm 26 impressive
