In today's video I'm serving up a full face of makeup using ONLY £1 makeup products! Possibly the most affordable face of makeup I've ever created. All of the products were purchased from poundland - but are they any good?? Find out in today's testing video! i love how positive you are! it's a breath of fresh air between all the negativity in other beauty gurus videos with the frase "for the price it's ok" or laughing about how "scared" they are of trying someting just because it's cheap🙈

I think you're one of the only KZfaqrs who even gives cheaper make-up a chance. I watched NikkieTutorials kids make-up challenge and she was so negative about it (even though it looked pretty good.) So yeah... I do quite like that you give it a chance and aren't too negative about it :)

I do have to say that I think Nikkie uses a filter and she never shows closeups, so with all the good lighting, camera settings and the filter, pretty much anything can look good in her videos. I've noticed before how she talked about really patchy foundations and yet she looks the same in every video, whether she uses good or bad products.

sanfran91 I have never really watched her videos because the thumb nail pictures are so incredibly photo shopped. She has these chiseled cheeks in the pictures!! Not really a true representation of her look!

I've noticed your skin is so clear! I'm so happy for you!! I was just wondering how you avoided scarring/ treated it? I had terrible cystic acne last summer and it inevitably scarred and got dents 😭 (I didn't pop them) I have been using vitamin C serum and it has helped but I was wondering what your recommendations are ❤😘😊

You are definitely two things... BRAVE and OPEN MINDED!!! This was a really fun video. I think it encourages us to pick up some really lower priced products and have some fun trying them. Wearing makeup is supposed to be fun and we should all experiment!! What I like most about you is that you don't take yourself too seriously... AND you are not afraid of showing your true (unfiltered) look on film!

Hi continuing with the cheap & cheerful theme, how about reviewing Boots Natural Collection? I like some of their stuff. But I've taken to loving seventeen's BB cream with a mix of other high street brands too these days. But I used natural collection a lot as a teen and only use a few bits of theirs now, but would like to see you do a full face review. Personally I'd rather spend money on more worthwhile things than make up but I still love make up! 😘

Really? I bought Seventeen's BB cream and found it gave my skin a very oily appearance and rather clumpy. I blended it with a brush and afterwards tried a beauty blender however it still looked very oily.

+Claro Mepa I was saying I like where people do honest reviews of some of the cheaper brands and see how they find them. Instead of the usual high street brands. Of course I watch her vids but I'm more interested in the cheaper end of the spectrum! Like +Cheer&Beauty 101 says!

+Safiyyah I find a little goes a long way and sometimes mix it with a little foundation. I apply with disposable sponges (I personally find them better than a beauty blender), I also blot after applying any foundation/BB cream before setting it with a dusting of powder. Still need to blot T-Zone during the day but that's the same for me with any face product. Guess everyone's skin is different which is why I like watching how other people get on with products!

I wish cheaper makeup or off brand makeup didn't have such a negative stigma. Not everyone can afford Armani or Lancome.

Can I just say that I really appreciate the fact that you always use a range of makeup - whether it be high end, drugstore, or cheaper makeup. You really accommodate your entire audience and always fairly judge the cheaper makeup when many big youtubers just snob it without realizing their audience can't afford all high end. So thank you and keep up with your lovely videos and positive attitude xx

I bought a load of makeup from there a few weeks ago to try. I still to this day use and love my brow kit and that lip cream! I have really pale skin and it is my favourite nude :) I also bought the cappuccino eyeshadow but I use it to contour and it works so well!! Lovely video xx

That's some good fricking makeup. Here in the US we have Dollar Tree and their makeup isn't all THAT good, but this stuff legit looks like they could all be sold at Sephora. The packaging is so professional, man! The application looks above decent. Wish our dollar store makeup was this good.

My mum uses these exact brands and tbh I thought they looked quite crap but after your video, I'm willing to use some of it (cause I'm running low on makeup 😂), it does seem to look like it works quite well. Which has made me feel more confident with maybe buying cheaper makeup ect. Thank you 😊 Ps: the eyeshadow looks amazing, I'm going to try and find some when I pass a poundland.

I love Poundland! so glad you tried out the products. It's good to see how it compares for someone who is experienced in products. I love that lip colour! Personally I use the "Kohl me beautiful" soft kohl eyeliner in "Brown 4" as a brow pencil. It's a perfect colour match for my brows and lasts all day, giving me fuller, yet natural eyebrows.

Yes I have the Poundland foundation as backup to mix with my other foundation to make it darker or lighter. I must say I'm going to try the matt lipstick as it looks nice on!

I have foundation from there lol 😅 I'm cheap like that. I mean I went to supserdrug and got a concealer and powder they charged me £14 and I got a foundation from boots and a mascara it cost me £23 like poundland is good if your on a student budget like me😅
