Thanks JAMS! I had an issue that my car’s APS terminal socket is different that I purchased new one, and have no ideas wiring diagram but your video gave me an idea and it worked. Now I can shift to organ gas pedal😊 Thank you again. ❤

I'm still wondering why I would test for voltage at all, rather than resistance. Agreed, this vid was a waste of time.

Please how can I fix the problemI was called to another garage to fix a 2005 300c chrysler. The problems they noticed with the car was Hard or no start, red lightning bolt flashing, no throttle response, headlight stays on, immediate stalling after starting and rough idle throughout idling as a result a new PCM was replaced with a new one however problem still persisted. I scanned for DTC codes and saw a P0340, P2167, P2166, P2115, P2116, p0603 and more module codes like C2202, U0168, U1414, B1A25, etc.

acceleration pedal is measured with rehostate resistance increase or decrease resistance the number of resistance tell the cpm where the pedal is if voltage is going through increase or decrease voltage. depending on the manufactures ingeneer.

Good video showing how the APP sensors work. However, the test itseft doesn't measure the voltage difference correlation between sensor 1 and 2 which is what actually the pcm is looking at to determine if the pedal is working properly or not.

Your reading is correct in a stationary condition, although you should have done the same test with the pedal operating. As a result, a test value of approximately 5V should have been obtained. And 4V in some other cars. Results less than that indicate that the accelerator pedal is faulty.

Very good video, one can use the Mobile phone charger, modify it to get 5V for testing. Just need to find out the pins. Thank You. All the way from Maputo/Mozambique

I agree very good video I don't know if anyone can answer this but is it possible for the pedal adjustment feature to interfere with the electronic pedal my steering column in my 06 Vic steering lock is going bad and somehow the pedal adjustment is kicking in and out along with limited if not sluggish response of the accelerator and brake pedal while it randomly adjusts

thank you - I got some crocodile clips but I dnt have the proper ones like you do with insulation but will see what I can do ( my car does not accelereate at all and the mechanic says it is the diesel pump but im thnking that does not sound right at all ( I mean if the pump was faulty it should atleast rev a little )

hey JAMS04 could you write where you attached the RED wire, BLACK/WHITE wire, GREEN/WHITE wire since i couldn't see where you attached the wires and on my end there is no audio and I couldn't see your mouth to try to read lips. It would of been a great video if you would be more informative not everyone can guess what you just showed.

So my pedal doesn't accelerate until about... 1" depression. It's always been that way though. and you only notice it after driving another machine. Sensors are everywhere these days though.

Its not the same in every car. The delay in some Cars is for Comfort purposes.
