Testing ELM327 OBD2 Scanner in Android 8.0 Oreo Car Radio Head Unit

When you pairing the OBD2, pls remember to change the pairing password from "0000" to "1234" in setting. Then use the new password "1234" to connect.
Now all the Joying 4GB RAM 32GB ROM Head Units are already run with the Android 8.0 Oreo OS:

And the Android 8.0 upgrade firmware for FYT PX5 Octa Core 2GBRAM 32GBROM Car Stereo and QD PX5 Octa Core 2GBRAM 16GBROM Car Radio will be available soon. Pls kindly wait and keep eyes on us. When it available we will post it on KZfaq Channel Android JOYING Official Website.

JY-VO132N4. Bluetooth app shows connected but in Torque no Bluetooth obd connected.

is it ok to leave the obd2 scanner at the obd2 plugin even after we r not using the vehicle? will it auto connect once we start our car engine again?

Yes, you do not need to unplug it after you close the car. And it will connected automatically when you back to the car next time.

Do I need the 8.0 version to connect to my OBDII? I have the 6.0 android version but I'm not connecting through Bluetooth.

The android 6 version car radio also can support to connect the OBD2.

i have joying car radio but when I try to connect obd2 adapter which has internal name other than OBD2 the same wont pair? The obd bluetooth adapter that I purchased from joying unfortunately does not connect to my cars ECU...Please help//

I ordered a Joying OBDII and did exactly what you did to connect and guess what? The brands own device doesn’t connect to their own product !?!?!? What is the problem with Joyings products now working right. I’ve had nothing but problems from day one with my unit.

You can turn it off in the radio Touch-Assistant app.

No, most other brands' OBD2 cannot compatible with the Joying radio!

Hello I just installed my new unit Machine code 06001F3B0000AA55 with BT version SD/v16.2-2018:02:28:09:18:42 fw:Dec 4 2017 16:50:14. Why can I not get mine to auto connect to my Note8 or elm327 device. My phone will auto connect to every other car radio but not this one. I can not even go into the BT settings and change the Device name or pair code. Please help as this is getting very frustrating.

It will released within a week. It is only available in Joying PX5 Octa Core system head unit

I have the 7” 8 core unit. And the obd adapter is not recognized by Torque I followed all the directions on the video and it still doesn’t work. Please help.
