@@aksez2u yeah in her long blog post, she said people were saying that she’s bossy and micro-managey toward Tyler and it really got to her, so now she constantly apologizes. I’m pretty sure Tyler doesn’t mind or doesn’t think of it like that, but I think she’s worried about it now that she knows it bothers some people.

@@spacecase8791 I do not hate him or her for it. But it get's old very fast. So much "sorry for this and that" and "can we get a action shot of X" and the constant micro managing they act out on each other. I am also talking a lot when i am nervous and i relate to wanting to make everything work well but the level of Teenage Angst from two people that are just 7 to 8 Years younger than me and the things i just mentioned.....ooof

I kind of appreciate how the broccoli freckles mimic both dirt on the face and a mild sunburn-makes it seem like Safiya and Tyler spent the day outside gardening instead of engaging in questionable hack testing.

I was thinking the same about the look of a sunburn - it reminded me of the episode of Stargate SG-1 ("The Fifth Race") where Sam and Teal'c go to a planet in the hope of helping O'Neill and get trapped there with a very hot sun rising. On the video screen when speaking to Stargate Command, Sam's face looked exactly like Safiya and Tyler's do!

I agree that they are so much fun to watch but sometimes I feel guilty for promoting this type of content as it can present some dangerous behavior. Guess I just wish KZfaq as a platform banned these channels all together.

I wrote this in the chat (but it got lost in the mix) but the chapstick and eye shadow hack is a real hack, however, it's more effective and doesn't ruin your eye shadow if you do it differently. What you want to do is scrape off a bit of eye shadow and a bit of chapstick and mix them together on a pallet (or the back of your hand) and then apply it!

As a teen, I would put chapstick on and then use a brush to tap loose eyeshadow over it. Hadn’t thought of that in ages 🤣

That's What I did for my Halloween costume😂 I needed green lipstick but I couldn't find any, so I just used eyeshadow and chapstick

On Halloween I needed blue lipstick, so I put concealer on my lips then brushed my eyeshadow into it and it honestly worked better than some of my actual lipsticks.

I've used eyeshadow to "seal" lipstick that was a bit gooey and never set and it looked great! Putting lipstick, chapstick, or gloss on your lips and then patting eyeshadow on is definitely the way to go for this hack.

I would do that and then put a lip oil on top. That was personal preference though because it made it more even and my lips didn’t feel as dry.

Back in the 70’s when I was a poor college student, I often used lip balm and eyeshadow but I would put on the LB and then brush on the eyeshadow, we would also mix food coloring with cornstarch instead of the eyeshadow

I also make a lot of my own makeup (mostly FX), and I just tried this, and my kitchen is blue, my hands are blue, my teeth are blue, but most importantly, my lips are blue. And I don't even wear blue lipstick! Thank you for sharing, I am sure it will come in handy for one costume or another.

I feel like Tyler's personality adds so much to this stream, maybe yall could try to be a little nicer to him? It just seems like yall don't find his humor funny, which is fine, but the shade is unnecessary. It's fine to not do things perfectly, but instead with a good effort. The blue lipstick part was made awkward for literally no reason.

The reason the chapstick eyeshadow one is different is because they used metallic eyeshadow. Metallics typically don't change colour when "wet".

25:00 People used to use mercury to alleviate Syphilis symptoms, and it did help with those, although it didn’t cure the disease itself. (Of course the side effects of Mercury poisoning are also not a fun time.) Stay safe, kids!

I - can't believe they had a half-decent hack in works for the slipping glasses thing - and then they just zoomed past it right into "JUST GLUE THEM TF DOWN TO YOUR EARS". (The semi-legit hack would be to use a strand of your hair to hold it in place by clipping it up over the holder, most natural when your hair's pinned up)

If someone wants to try the chapstick and eyeshadow hack without ruining them, you can put the chapstick on first and then use your finger to pat the eyeshadow. I do this with my blush.

I went to a nice hotel in Mexico with large orange tile floors in the bedroom. My feet were surprisingly tar black by bedtime and the sheets where bright white. I wet a hand towel with micellar water, and it was like a power washing video my feet were so clean with one wipe, the hand towel looked like it came out of a mechanics workshop though.

for the chapstick hack i usually put the chapstick on and then apply the eyeshadow color with my finger. 😊 definitely works well if you need a colored lippie to match perfectly.

The toilet paper one, I actually used to use a giant scrunchie around my ponytail, fountain the hair and then swirl it around and it works perfectly haha. And I'm a hairdresser so

I've been using "clear/beige" lipstick and eyeshadows for years but not in this exact way. First I put the lipstick on my lips and then I use my finger to tap the eyeshadow on and it really covers the lips with any colour I want and also it stays opaque for a long time. It's similar to matte lipsticks, they stay good looking for longer time than creme/shiny ones. Colourful lipsticks have not been sold in my country for a long time and now they are still really expensive, so this is the way to have green or blue lips although you can't buy it. Actually the one colour I really like and suits me is really hard to find here. Not even years of looking for it helped, so this is the way to have this shade of green until the time I finally find the exact shade of lipstick I want.

I've done the chapstick/eyeshadow lipstick before. Put the chapstick on. Pat the eyeshadow on with a finger. It stayed all night - it even survived eating a pizza.

a teaspoon of Vaseline will help break up hairballs for your kitty. My old cat who used to get hairballs actually liked it. I would put it on a spoon and he would lap it right up.

I will say that I have put eyeshadow on my lips before. Usually I don't put the balm on the shadow though because I don't want to ruin it. So I apply the shadow to the lips, then the balm.

love y'alls videos! I've been watching all the streams so far! Something that could be cool is a camera for above shots. especially for seeing content in bowls. or even just the zoom in camera at higher elevation? Something to consider. I know I would enjoy that better view at times

Love you both so much I am so glad you're back. I hope that you will still be doing some of the stuff you used to do when you each had your own channels I mean I love seeing you together and that's fine if you do them together but I just love everything you guys do. And you got to love crusty!
