I just love the Enjoy Dry Wax. There is a learning curve but was I got it I was hooked and really happy with the way my hair looked. And my hair is very wavy and thick.

I know this isn’t your Sunday Song channel but I had to write and say a special thank you! My father-in-law passed this past week. The memorial service is in a couple of hours and this song is going to be sung by all of us. It is a great comfort knowing we’ll see him again someday, it’s a greater comfort to be able to sing these words with joy and anticipation! Thank you for your quiet but overwhelming witness! Hi Sharalee! Thank you for great reviews of these pomades. This is going to save me a lot of money - LOL! I have been looking at purchasing the Moroccan oil one but I was always put off by the price. Same with the Bumble & Bumble one. Such a hard product to find that is good, smells nice and actually works. I can cross these ones off my list. Gorgeous look on you as well! Sparks and sizzle are not words I want associated with my hair. I agree with you! I do like the Style Line texture and Style Line Serum at Master Cuts. But Enjoy is a top favorite for holding in our constant Trade Winds of daily 25+ mph breezes.

I use Enjoy everyday. It’s legit. It molds beautifully, stays all day and the next day a little heat from the blow dryer and boom . Love it.

Still love the Enjoy. I also tried a few. The Enjoy is by far the best. I use one hand and a few fingers. Rub together and on to my hair! Little at a time works great! Thank you for this though. I used to be a Got to be Glued Gal until you recommended Enjoy!

Kenra Taffy is my go to for texturizing my hair. It is easy for me to use. I'm not sure if it has a scent. I don't remember it having one. My hairstylist recommended this product and I was not disappointed. I pray you have a blessed weekend!

I think I'm going to have to give the Kenra Taffy a try myself.....had a hairstylist try it on me twice and I couldn't hardly comb it out. But sometimes I think I need to apply it myself to get a real feel for it. Thanks for the recommendation! Hope you had a blessed weekend too💗

I would love to see you try Fiber Blast by Color Proof. If applied properly using a small pea size, rub your palms together and clap your hands together until you see fibers appearing then apply through your dry clean hair , it will let you style you hair any way you want with lots of texture and hold with no stickiness. If it feels sticky or greasy you have used to much, although I’ve never had that issue at all. I think you will love this, it’s like nothing else. I sell hair products to hairdressers and it is a favorite. Your hair looks a lot like mine in thickness and I love it💕

I’m with you on the scent of most of those products. I like what my hair stylist uses as far as hold,but it has a very masculine scent that stays with you, so I’ve never even asked what it is

It Is Well With My Soul is the song my two sisters and I sang at the meal after my Mom's funeral over 25 years ago. I thought of it as you were playing, it was a beautiful spring day in May and she was finally free of her pain from cancer. Thank you.

Loved this video and hearing your reviews! I'm still on the hunt for the perfect wax/pomade, but my choices are VERY limited, as it has to have all natural ingredients. There aren't many companies that are all natural and offer a pomade. So, in the meantime I stick with my homemade version. It has beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil, and essential oils. It works ok, but I prefer something with more hold and scent. I'll keep looking...🤔☺ Have a great weekend!! 🌞🌻

So glad you enjoyed this! Yes, that has to be VERY tough indeed to find one with all natural ingredients. A couple of people have recommended one from Aveda.....I think they are suppose to have really good/natural ingredients....might be worth checking into. If not, you might try adding a little Diatomaceous Earth to your homemade version....that's one of the ingredients in Enjoy Dry Wax😉

Tried and true, we always go back to them. For me it's Redken rough paste. It's the $26.00 price tag that gets me. I've tried the Enjoy dry wax and I do like it, however it only works for me in the hot Summer months. Come Fall, it's too hard. Thanks for the reviews.

You're right, we do! I absolutely love the scent of Redken rough paste! It is great for adding texture. I think we need to have you move south during the winter months so you can continue using the Enjoy Dry Wax😂😘

Girl, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!! 😀 Once you find a product that you know and love it’s very hard to try and like something else! As I’ve mentioned before I have a similar hair style and I can’t get the Enjoy Dry Wax to work for me. My hair texture is fine although I have a lot of hair so I think that has something to do with it. There is a fine line with having enough slip and enough grip when it comes to theses types of waxes/pomades and I often mix two different products to get the right consistency. My go to combo is/was the Matrix OverAchiever (3-in-1 cream,paste,wax) and the TecniArt Lumi Controle by L’Oreal. Although I have a feeling they have discontinued the Lumi Control. Boo! I recently discovered the Tee Tree Styling Wax by Paul Mitchell and am loving it! However, knowing how much you love your Dry Wax I believe you may find these products to “wimpy” as well. 🤣 Although others leaving comments here may find the products I mentioned to their liking. Good morning! Glad to see these reviews, but I still go back to my favorite. Got2b messyfying putty. I think it's as good as Enjoy dry wax. Please give it a try. I have found it at Walmart and Amazon. 😊

My favorite promade for frizz control is Ouida Advanced Climate Control. Another promade that smells great is OUAI.

The Enjoy dry wax contains beeswax which gives it it's very wax-like texture. I'm allergic to beeswax, so I'm not sure about trying it. If I make sure to keep it only on ends and the mid-shaft, it may be okay. Thanks for the reviews!!

Enjoy dry wax was the best product recommendation that I have learned about from you.I have learned to use less,because my hair is not thick like yours,but the right amount is the best thing for shaping and actually makes my hair look and feel thicker. By the way,I really like my new even shorter cut,but my stylist cut the top slightly shorter even ,than yours.In a month or so,I will get cut again, but leave the top growing to even out.Overall,I am loving this very short shag cut.

I decided to try the Enjoy for my pixie ... I barely used any at all on clean hair and it made my hair shiny, greasy and dirty feeling ... so disappointed because I really wanted to like this. I just got the Enjoy dry wax but the thing that bothers me is, that the first ingredient listed is "petrolatum" & that worries me. I am an oral cancer survivor & try to use only clean products. Got it on Amazon, seriously thinking about returning it. Really bummed about that.😔

I as well have a hard time finding a holy grail hair product. I mix 2 different ones to make mine which thankfully comes out great. Unfortunately, if the stores would offer testers we all would not have a drawer full of "next" hair products in our arsenal.

I hear ya! It is interesting that there aren't very many "samples" of hair pomades/waxes even available.....it would save us money and the companies as well as they wouldn't have so many returns!

Have you ever tried Aquage Transforming Paste? It combines the flexibility of a wax with the hold of a hairspray.

I have had several people say they love the Enjoy Clay better on their fine/thin hair. While I do think the Enjoy Dry Wax could still work for you, you will have to be careful not to get too much. And yes, I do have a warm/yellow undertone. Thank you for your sweet compliments....I think a tutorial on this makeup look will be coming😘

I have fine hair and swear by Aveda Control Paste. It doesn't take much and you can manipulate your hair to where you want it. I spray it with a spritz of hairspray and my style stays all day. Plus, your hair is still movable and is not sticky or crunchy.

I have been wanting to try the Enjoy wax but have been hesitant cause I am picky about my hair products and don't want to waste it if I don't like it. I have fine but thick hair that does not like to hold volume. I have been growing my bangs out to get a similar hair style to yours and can't quite get my bangs to stay in place like yours do. I currently use big sexy hair blow dry volumizing gel and Paul Mitchell or Catwalk rootboost spray while blow drying and then use a combination of Redkin water wax03 and Paul Mitchell firmstyle dry wax. I am not completely happy with it but it has the best results of anything I have tried. If I really want it to stay I use the Aussie instant freeze but it makes my hair crunchy if I don't get the amount right. I also only wash my hair 2 to 3 times week and use dry shampoo in between and restyle a little on non washing days. Anyone have any suggestion for other products to try or whether they think the Enjoy wax will work well with my hair type?

Wow, it sounds like you have quite the customized "cocktail" of hair products! I can only imagine how much testing that took to find the right combination. One other product I've heard recommended for those with fine hair is the Enjoy Clay. I do think the Enjoy Dry Wax would also work for you but the Clay might be another option to check out😘

Hi there! I usually don't have any troubles washing out the products from my hair. However, if I feel like there is build up in the hair, I like to use the REDKEN Clean Maniac Shampoo (now called Hair Cleansing Cream). It really cleans the hair without drying it out or stripping the color😊

I haven't tried either of those wax products. My favorite alternative to the Enjoy Dry Wax is the Bed Head Manipulator Matte. Hopefully you are able to find this product where you live!💗

I'm so glad you enjoy my videos💕 Although I've not tried them, I love the suggestion from Margitta to use the Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops. When I feel like I need a little more shine, I spritz on the Agadir Hemp & Red Wine Gloss Spray Treatment. It doesn't weigh down the hair or make it greasy but adds a nice shine to your finished style. Otherwise, if you just want to use one product, the Style Sexy Frenzy pomade gave decent hold and a little more shine.

I don't use a pomade, but I was wondering if you have any issues with waxy buildup? I wonder if a little baking soda in your shampoo would help with that? I'm due another haircut in about a week. My hair grows fast and is so thick. I have annoying waves, and hair is falling out at my temples and coming in on my chin and upper lip. Ah, menopause....it's wounderful lol :) Thanks for the video. I may try a pomade next cut.

Oh my goodness, that made me laugh out loud!😂 All those wonderful things we get to experience as women😳 I guess you could say the same thing happens to men....the hair just starts growing out of their ears and nose instead!😘 With a pomade, you can get a little build up, especially if you use too much product. Thankfully, I have found a good clarifying shampoo from Redken called Clean Maniac that I use maybe once a week. Haven't thought about trying baking soda though....might be on to something there! If you've never used a pomade/wax, you might really be amazed at how much hold and control it can give you.

That is a good question because you would think the heat from the sun would do that. However, I feel like it still holds the hair in place really well. It may soften a bit but I've honestly never noticed a change in the hold power!

Gonna give this a try.. I used the moroccanoil texture clay but the hold Was a medium not a strong hold. I saw they have the enjoy hair clay.. It says medium hold and matte finish.. Have you tried that one? 🙂

I haven't tried the Enjoy Hair Clay but have heard from several subscribers that have more fine textured hair that it has worked well for them. If you have medium to coarse hair and want a strong hold, I'd go with the Enjoy Dry Wax😊

@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates yes, I just got it today, the dry wax I mean, and it works wonderfully! It has a weightless feel, and yet, it holds so well! The scent is also interesting.. Very subtle and light. I like it a lot. And what I noticed is that you barely need anything to hold it well. Very good product! I'm glad I gave it a shot 😊😊

I knew it would be good when I looked at the ingredients and saw this was a hybrid wax as it has some diotametious earth in the first few ingredients! That's why it's not greasy and feels fluffy and voluminous 😊😊 I have a lot of friends who review products on KZfaq and we have many friends in common with homebrewed companies. I get sent quite a few products here and there. If you ever wanted to try something that's truly high hold and matte finish, I have a few that are truly amazing! Templeton tonics Oasis Clay, Stickmore styling cream (it acts like a clay), root & muddle clay, crafted matte paste from the collaboration between Flagship Pomade and the salon guy, O'douds Dry Wax, shear revival American Gardens Clay and one of my new favorites is the Hanz De Fuko Two Ton Styling Cream (has a crazy hold, adds body & definition with a superb hold. All of these are wonderful! They're all water based and washout super easily! A couple others that I like a lot are not homebrewed are the blind barber 90 proof matte pomade (smells delicious) and the Byrd clay pomade. I'm also still a big fan of the tigi bed head matte separation workable wax (still awesome!). In case you wanted to try something new 😊😊 Oh, and most of these are all very creamy product but don't worry, once you emulsify them, you'll feel the tackiness 😊

the last pomade probably has a lot of chemicals and its probably flammable, a lot of hair products are that way.
