Your hairstyle is what I have been wanting for years! It is so flattering and I appreciate your tips. If only I could find a stylist who is capable. You are very blessed to have a stylist who listens to you and does such an amazing job. I take photos to stylists to show what I want , but I just never get the cut I need to style my hair this way. I have not gotten my hair cut in 15 months, so maybe I will try again. Be blessed!

I want mine just like you have on top/around the crown, but longer length down, w/layers close to my neck, so my hair barely comes to my shoulders, like Joan Jett. I go to the Empire beauty college here in Tucson, AZ because they take their time, is cheaper, and the professor always checks me as students cut it. They do whatever I ask of them. Shampoo, conditioner, cut, color, styling and tonor, for $45! Professor Rita has 30 years' cutting hair experience, and 15 years teaching it. She cuts with a nice, firm grip and confidence, as she really knows what she is doing. I appreciate the art of cutting hair, and the techniques involved to get the end product. Ladies, we must give ourselves that time that we deserve - our hair is our crowning glory. Your highlights bring out this cut even more! I like how they are accented more in the front. Great job!

I have straight hair and I'm loving this style, but am thinking about letting the undercut grow out a little bit, that part was a little too short for me. Like I told my hair stylist if I don't like it I can let it grow back out, lol. It's just hair!! I'm getting the hang of styling it now!

I absolutely love your hair cut!! I’m getting the same one next week my moms a hair dresser so she does my hair. I’ve had something like this for a hair cut when I was in high school but I really think it’s one of the nicest if not the nicest short spiky hair style I like personally. 🙂👍🏻

I wore my hair in a long bob for a long time and then I got it cut short. When I would wake up in the morning my hairstyle was an absolute mess and I looked like "little Alfia…". Love the style. Just got my long hair cut off short and was looking at how to style it. Question: I don't wash my super dry hair daily. How do you "reactivate" and style this cut on second day (or third day) hair?

Shelley Martin Thank you!😊 Great question.....if you use the Enjoy Dry Wax, it can be reactivated the next day with your blow dryer. Use a warm setting, low fan speed and work your fingers through the hair as you blow dry it....the wax will become pliable again, allowing you to restyle it. I’ve had several requests to do a video showing how to style 2nd day hair so I will be working on that soon! I hope you enjoy your new cut!

Thank you so much! The dark color is my natural color which is about a level 5 ash brown. The highlights are achieved with high volume (level 40) lightener to lift the color to a 10-11 ash blonde😘

I’ve since had her do the point cutting in the back but then just do more of a straight edge along the bottom in the back so I can wear it flat or spiked. Hope this helps you get the cut you want!💕

I am a new subscriber to your channel. After having chin or shoulder-length hair, I went back to a pixie cut that I last had around 20 years ago (inspired by Demi Moore's cut in "Ghost"), only now I've spiked it thanks to finding some Pins that featured you! I showed your pics to my stylist and she followed it very well. I've since found your channel and watched several vids that include the one of your stylist cutting your hair in 2017 that I think I'll share with my own stylist, too. Thanks for your suggestions of products (like Tigi Catwalk root boost, that I plan to purchase tomorrow). I love your makeup! If you don't mind sharing (you might have in previous vids), what is the lipstick you wear? I love that color, and it looks like a matte, long-lasting type. Keep on inspiring us short-haired gals! I am 57 1/2 years old, and was carded this year 3 times for purchasing wine in a grocery store after getting my short haircut! Apparently, I appeared closer to 40 than 60, and the haircut made all the difference. Appreciate you so much!

I'm sorry, your style is a little shorter than you wanted!! Hang in there....hopefully in a week or two, it will feel just about right. I've done a couple of videos where my hair is pretty short and I'll link them below. This first one is in the spikey style and is slightly shorter than this video you just watched. The next one is with it styled much more flat but with a little bit of spikiness. I have really been enjoying both the CHI Flatiron and the JINRI Flatiron. Both perform very well....the JINRI is slightly smaller and less expensive but the CHI products are suppose to last for YEARS! Hope that is helpful!!💖

Good question! In my "non-expert" opinion😘 I think by adding the oil last, it prevents you from getting it too close to the roots when the root boost is applied.

@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Ah, OK. I will try. I have a hard time applying products so they are only on separate places, haha! There will probably always be "overlap" with me. I guess I could just apply some more root booster if I felt the oil covered over the first layer of root booster too much.

I have short hair but I would like to have it shorter like yours how long is the crown of your hair? Also I have white hair and I want to put black in it so it looks like salt and pepper. Do you have any suggestions. I’d like to do this at home if I could.

Sorry for the delayed response! The crown of my hair in this styles was about 1 3/4" - 2". As for the color, I think this style would look fabulous with your white hair! But if you wanted to add some dimension, I'd probably have a professional stylist do it the first time and then maybe maintain it at home😘
