Apocalypse is a devastating attack in Frostaleon, I am considering raising a Shadowbeak with Apocalypse too, it could be beastly, the problem is that putting toxic mist on it also tempts me.

- Your work speed passives on the chickens will make them poop faster. If a normal chicken takes 1 second to lay each egg, your uber fast chicken will lay the egg in half a second. (at least it used to, I have not tested recently). This does add up over time... but not that much. I still think hunger passives are better for ranch animals. - Oh... Last episode you asked about the harder work modes in the monitoring stand. I've tinkered with them... They are not viable for long term (IMO). As soon as you turn it up, even idle pals will lose sanity (at normal, idle pals gain sanity slowly). It also depletes sanity from ranchers too (maybe your fridge pal too, but I didn't check). - An option for money (that isn't super heavy)... The Dumud poops HQ Pal Oil which sells for 30. If you turn that into Polymer, that sells for 120. I'm not sure the price, but if you have an easy source of crystal, I'm sure turning them into circuit boards would sell for a lot. Plus it's nice to have infinite polymer when you need to make a new saddle or something. - Legendary spheres also sell well. Having infinite pal fluids from the kelpseas makes that viable now. Just need to buy bone. - If you want to avoid misinformation... avoid the channel that titles all its videos "Is maxing out XXX worth it?" That guy is a misinformation farm. Even when he is called out on his mistakes he doesn't go back and annotate the video to mention the mistake. He might mention it in a following video. Avoid at all costs. He cares more about pumping out content than ensuring it is accurate. - On my Bella Playthrough, I am breeding so I can attempt Ultra... I'm close to making an attempt. (Still no male Liberos yet). Anyhow, I've been paying attention to how passives and bonuses are applied to pals. I originally thought it was additive, but it is actually multiplicative (HUGE difference). I am thinking that having siren / Lord will be worse than ferocious, and here is the math... Assuming the pal has 1000 attack after all compression / leveling etc. If you had ferocious / siren... (or ferocious / lord). 1000 attack x 1.2 (ferocious) = 1200. Dark attack 1200 x 1.2 (siren) = 1440 On the other had if you have siren / Lord Dark Attack 1000 x 1.4 (lord + siren) = 1400 Ferocious should have a small advantage. Yep, your tests supported my hypothesis. The siren / Lord was weaker. From my testing, stats are applied in the following way... Each step is multiplied by the total from the previous step. Compression and adding souls increase the BASE stat (health / attack / defense / work speed) Passives are applied to the base stat. Food is then applied to the passive total. If it is a work pal in your base, then the base buff is applied (flame cauldron, toolbox etc for an additional 20%). I am assuming that this is where Spell type passives would be applied. (Siren / Lord). Since your tests supported my hypothesis, I am fairly confident that this is where this is applied. If spell bonus was applied earlier, your results would have been different. example... Crafting Pal. You can check the results yourself by inspecting its crafting speed from the PalBox. 70 Base work speed. 70 x 1.3 (30% from souls) = 91 new base crafting speed. (This is shown when you Mouse over crafting speed while inspecting. At the top it shows 70 -> 91). 91 x 2 (100% bonus from artisan, serious, workslave) = 182 182 x 1.3 (Salad) = 236 (This is what you will see if you inspect him when he is standing around in your base). 236 x 1.2 (flame cauldron) = 283 Crafting speed if you inspect him while he is cooking something.

2:14 I think it works like this: if 0 stars, then the Chikipi will lay 1 egg. If 1 star, then 1 or 2 eggs, random. And so on. So for 4 stars, 1 to 5 eggs, random, so the average is 3. So that's why it looks like it is about 9 vs 3 for the 3 minute test. It is said that the "Work Speed" affects the egg laying animation speed, so the faster it is, it really should matter. The Nimble and Swift... since it doesn't need to eat that often, should not matter so much. I think you may need to do a longer test, by the Law of Large Numbers... and need to consider if the test has "nights" in it so the Chikipi was sleeping. Maybe a 1 or 2 hour test, and then either the Night Speed set to 5, or can the Day Speed be set to 0.1, and then start the test in the morning (go to bed to get to the morning)

I found the unofficial DMG formula in a Reddit post (for now it's the closest to reality) and it is 1.1 x ( ( ( 1.5 x your pal's level ) + 20 ) x the move's power x your pal's attack base stat / the target's defense stat ) / 15. The move power is multiplied by element increased by any% (like siren, lord for example + STAB) and the pal attacks stat by the DMG increased by any% (Like lucky, ferocious, legend etc). I made an excel and put all the frostallion noct stat lvl 50, 100IV and full condensed+ and increased DMG/element to see what is better and my results was for ice and dark DMG for a 350 base defense: 1) for unmounted -for lucky 2154.6 dark and 1795 ice -for siren/ferocious: 2309 dark and 1979 ice -for lord siren: 2329 dark and 1747 ice 2)for mounted -lucky 3950 dark and 1795 ice -siren/ferocious 3959dark /1979 ice -siren/lord 3785dark/1747ice 3) for unmounted +4 Hoocrates -lucky 3086 dark/2571 ice -siren/ferocious 3396 dark/2911 ice -lord/siren 3571dark/2678 ice You can't verify the unmounted on pengullet doll but the mounted one seems to follow the the formula. You are right at some point about the lord/siren not worth it in most cases. But eventually on pal without enhanced DMG like Lyleen noct maybe worth it. PS: STAB is Same Type Attack Bonus (like Pokémon) and it's 20% more element DMG for a pal using a same type skill. PS 2: enhance damage while mounted is 100% more element DMG PS 3: pals like Hoocrates increase base dmg

yeah as im sure its been said but work speed makes the animation quicker i will say on bees full workspeed on beegrade is worth it, on the other ranch pals not as much but yeah you only need the lvl 5 on ranch pals to get the best output of drops, i will suggest getting one dumud at lvl 5 you will be swimming in high quality pal oil you only need one if you get it to lvl 5 also if you make gold generation don't do maus they are good for early to mid game but end game ie lvl 46+ for the character you would get more gold generation mass producing salads and legendary spheres to sell reason i say those is salads are super quick and easy to make as long as you have a max condense work speed lyleen and jormintide and they sell for 120 each, and legendary spheres are bit more intensive but sell for 4250 each i will say you can make 999 on the production assembly at a time and if you sold that its 4 mill per 999 and the max stack you can hold per slot in inventory is 9999 so yeah if you can get that much sells for like 40 mill each time you sell or something crazy like that i mean i did two stacks of spheres once at 999 and a bunch of salads had enough money to get it so have 8000 cakes across 4 breeding pens like 1-2k per pen since you can buy all cake mats except honey from some vendors which goes into work speed is way better on beegarde animation over any other ranch pal since went afk for like 6-8 hrs (work bleh lol) but when i came back to the game after doing that had like 3k more than i did when i left went from 4200 to 7300 in the storage box i was using mind you have 4 beegardes at max condense lvl but not souls for work speed with all work speed passives

Speaking of chickens, I have never rescued a chikipi from the camps. I'm on a third play through. Are they even an option. I guess I'll stick with purchasing. Thx!😊
