Sorry but that's the worst board.. I'm new to ESk8 and got this as gift.. it broke in a week. The remote started acceleration by itself.. then the replacement was broken straight from box.. if anything breaks there is no parts or website to buy parts.. I researched a bunch and bought Meepo V3 and Backfire G2 both are far better and will last year's longer.. don't get screwed by that board.. just my advice..otherwise good luck and be safe

Little intervention I got that board a couple of years ago and even though it is sturdy and works correctly I found out very quickly that the materials they use for the wheels degrade very quickly and the fact that it only has one motorised wheel makes the board woberly like a wonky label leg becouls it where is down quicker then every other wheel. A better option would have to be a meepo board, for more or less the exact same price you get two electric motors, a longer range, faster speed and better customer service. 👍👍

I got a backfire mini, had it since June 16th so a little over a month. I’ve done 100 miles on it so far and it’s a blast…it goes 26mph and has a sleek look to it. They also make a few other longboard variants…my next one may just be the backfire era 2. Going fast is fun and all but just having a skateboard that I can ride without pedaling when I get tired is awesome👌🏻

My first electric skateboard was A beastboard viper and I can say it's probably the best board you can get for A 600$ price range.. the big 110mm wind wheels are super smooth and won't hurt yo legs after A long drive like those cheap 80mm rock solid urethane wheels that most boards come with.. I get about 20 miles of range and my top speed so far was 30mph

I built my own electric longboard. I got a badass motor on offer up for 30$ and spent 50$ on the board and hardware. It has a top speed of 22 mph and a 12 mile battery.

I wish I could have an electric skate border.

Get a backfire or exway board

I'm 190lbs. 43y/o This was my second skateboard. It is plenty of speed and distance for putting around the city. Gets up and down the average street inclines. I don't trust that breaks, but the regeneration charge comes in handy, the lag is real. I have a replaced left ACL. These thing helps strengthen my knees ankles and back. You can feel the difference. You can push it if you choose. For longer lasting performance, upgrade the three wheel Baring and/or clean and oil the ones that come with it and you will want to tighten the trucks. It snapped on takeoff going through the French quarters after six months of pre90s level outdoors activity (everyday for hours at a time). I sold it, the guy glued and panted it and 1 year later, he's still cruising on it. I dig.

Bro I’m into ESk8. I don’t want to be rude but that thing is a toy. A device like a personal vehicle requires serious funding, anything that cheap is a poor knockoff, and thus will be prone to breaking. I’d recommend backfire, Skatebolt, exway, or any other major brand’s 500-700 dollar eboard for an entry level. Your girl deserves a better board 😤😤😤. And if you want to go cheaper and DIY (as many do) you can buy a screw on kit which can get similar mileage to your purchased board with much better acceleration and speed on most standard analog longboards in the 160-250 dollar range(won’t go on a drop deck for obvious reasons). DIY is a much cheaper option if price is the main concern, as the overall build should be about 400-450 if you play your cards right.

u could just have bought a pre made battery, u would have made a better board for half the price.. and thats a longboard.. i would have gotten her the Meepo Mini 2, cheaper, faster, goes longer, gets parts and if u want it to ride like a skateboard then there is hubmotors, they give the same stiffness.

Yeah, 20mph at only 10 mile range? Def got a lower class version. The one I have can get up to ~30mph at 11-13 miles with regen braking.

terrible quality board + shorts and T-shirt + no helmet oh boy, this cant end well. seriously, I would not trust the electronics of that board, so wear a helmet. if that thing shuts off mid-ride it can slam the brakes (depending on ESC) and brain damage is nothing to fuck around with. have seen it happen quite a few times before.
