What the setup cost? Monthly subscription $? What speed you currently have? Is there a limited monthly data cap?

@@LilGiantsConstrCo . 700 to purchase dish, 145 per month, no limit. We went from 3 mbps to 150 mbps immediately! The dish continues to calibrate itself and within 2 weeks will be dialed in. Claims of other people in out area is 300 mbps. I cant recall exact upload speed numbers atm the moment but I’m sure its 10 times better than Bell was. And now we say goodbye to Bell dish service as we can now stream any TV we might want. So thats 100 bucks a month saved by doing that. And i doubt you have any tress to worry about signal obstruction. LOL. I would look into it bud.

@@Kinghauler2012 last thing I want to do is watch more tv but a better selection than what bell offers would be appreciated. Streaming tv is what everyone talks about in town. Upload is usually 10% of download, so even 15 mbps would be 30x what I have now. I hope star link doesn’t turn into what explorenet became, too many users then speed turns to a dribble.

@@LilGiantsConstrCo 10-4 on the TV. Bad for our mental health in my opinion. I dont see Starlink being a flash in the pan. Thats just not how Elon operates. When this was all first launched, Musk started with I think it was 700 satellites. Coverage was not wide but on a constant basis more and more of his satellites are going up. Into the thousands now and thats why finally came available for us. We applied back in the spring but was not available here until recently. The satellites are even designed to know when orbit is decaying and will purposely shut down and start the re entry burn. Claims 95% burn up , was the last hurdle for Musk to achieve before he got the go ahead on the entire project.
