Surprise, I live!!! 😛 It turns out 2022 was a busy year, some good, some bad, but either way relatively little work got done on this project. I gave some updates on the discord, but I guess not a single video here... whoops!
Don't expect too much from 2023, especially the first half of this year, but here's something for everybody old still hanging in here and anybody new just discovering the channel. Y'all are the reason I keep coming back to plug away at this after life has dragged me down some well of responsibility. 🧡
Not too much to see in the video itself. Except that you might notice I've been completely rebuilding the simulation from the ground up again. My programming skill has grown a lot over the previous versions and this new rebuild will improve and expand on pretty much every system... buuut building from scratch is also slow going. At the moment most basic mechanics are implemented, but diplomacy between polities is super limited and the balance is off. But the map looks really pretty!
Thanks again to everyone still hanging in here, hopefully next update will at minimum be a bit sooner than a whole year. Stay strong everyone! 🧡🧡🧡
