21:00 - Zero your scale with the dry bucket on the scale. Don't do math if you don't need to.

@@JeffSmith-eq3kc with metric you would fill the bucket for a minute, record the weight (say for arguments sake it’s 9.5kg), then bingo you have your answer. 9.5 litres per minute. How could you do it as easily using imperial measurement?

For me the best part of AR pressure washer is, i can wall mount inside of the garage or place it in the detail cart to wash outside if need it. Plus is service-able

I'm not a professional but I do have 7 cars in my driveway and garage these days. I have 3, wide has hers, we have a family Suburban and then my two kids. The Active 2.0 has been extremely impressive to me. Reliable and just performs.

Hey Mike great video.. how about a pair of hydraulic rated check valves on the output sides of the 2.0's... might hinder flow not sure

The pressure switch is definitely the weak link in the Active pressure washers. I had an older CAT(ERPILLAR) version of the VE52. The pressure switch was the first part to fail. I'm not sure if the check valve is an integrated part of the switch, but if so, maybe Matt can convince Active to beef up that system component.

Matt...what if I told you you could have a pressure controlled sequential relay that would allow the user to "select" one or both pumps on by the number of trigger squeezes and/or delay whereby a second pump kicks in after x-number of seconds?

Im not sure if this has been brought up. But are the active 2.0 pumps using a flow switch and not a pressure switch? And the 2nd pump is still seeing flow from the other pump causing it to stay on? Just a thought i had.

The AR630TSS is the best machine on the market. It just has a smaller profit margin for resellers.

No it doesn’t. It has higher margin than Kranzle. There is some Italian jank to the AR.

there is inlet/outlet option on the side of AR pump. you dont have to use the front just fyi hope this helps anyone

A check valve on the inlet side before splitting out to both machines. That'll do it ;)

For the active you would have to put the pressure switch after the T or Y and use 1 pressure switch for both

Any recommendation for a ceramic coating that can withstand heat... as in the Quad Chrome Exhaust Tips on a BMW E9X M3.

How about a single to dual pressure washer upgrade kit? Many customers already have a single Kranzle/AR and just want a second pressure washer and the parts to go to a dual setup.

My 2.0 does the same thing but obviously I’m not running the dual setup, after holding the trigger for a while when I go to release it it makes the same noise y’all’s was making and I have to pull the trigger one or two times to get it to shut off.

I am curious if anyone runs a Jenny cold water pressure washer. I would like a high end US made washer. These keep popping up in my searches and I cannot find a review of the cold water versions.

Hmm I thought the reason for cutting down the PSI with Di rinse was cost. My local coin op had the button for it but did not work. I mean it would be a waste to run DI water at full psi.

in a home setup. the initial price is high but is feasible to do. I wash my car full process with DI water. items needed are a water softener, a filter housing, a CR spotless set up, go to RV Mods and purchase the tubes to replace the cartridges. Of course get your use out of the cartridges. One bag of replacement DI resin goes for less than 300, you get two complete refills in the CR 20 set up. I have a filter installed prior to the water softener, plumbed from softener to the CR Spotless. Been on the first half of resin since beginning of spring. I used to use coin op, the one I used rarely had customers when I started using it. So much so I used it to just get away from everything and everyone to just clean my vehicle. Now it is crazy busy, which lead me to build my own set up . GPMs that is what cause DI to not proper right. So much so that CR Spotless sends a nozzle with the kit and it instructs on what settings to use.

Just start using real pressure washers. 220v 5 -7.5 hp and stop with the tiny units. They're quieter than these units too.

The dual pressure washer setup is overkill. You dont need more than 1,000psi of pressure on automotive paint, door and window seals, suspension boots such as ball joint dust covers that hold the grease in. You do not want commercial car wash pressure of 2,500+ psi. It's why no one uses commercial car washes anymore. Second all that additional water is wasteful. You dont need more than what a single unit puts out at 1.2-1.5 gallons per minute. You are literally just dumping the additional water wherever it will go which makes for an uncontrollable mess as you are working one panel and one section of the vehicle at a time. More water pressure (psi) and water volume gallons per minute are better than a one unit setup. Guaranteed!!! Wait till your window seals and door moldings leak and start to pull away.

A high flow rate is what you want with washing a car. We used an 8.0 orifice to reach the max flow at just around 1000PSI.
