There is a 'world of difference' between nice clean nails recently driven into a piece of two-by and the corroded stuff remaining after prying old 'pallet' boards apart

Have used airlocker for 3 years. Love it. Turn up your pressure and use over a bucket of water. Higher pressure drives the nails right through and the water stops them. No messing about with a Hammer

I have the Air Locker version. Looks to be a bit smaller than this one, but same concept. I was using it to remove 4" spikes from old growth 1" oak in my 120+ year old house. No problems. My mother-in-law saw it and took over. Again, no problems. Suggestion on bent nails is to bend them back as close to straight as possible. We suspended the boards over a 5 gallon bucket with crumbled paper in it. Kept ricochets to a minimum. Another use that I just found is as a nail set. I put a bunch of new door trim up before realizing I had the wrong setting on my 16ga air nailer. Heads left up about 1/8". Turn the pressure down to 40psi and it taps the nails to easily caulk over.

Maybe a mod? Shorten the plunger by 3/16ths or so? Then it would stop flush or just before the end of the tube perhaps preventing that ugly divot... I dunno but I’m ordering one still under $50 that comes with a spare plunger that I may try to modify myself. That’s for the education on this, I’ve been wanting one for a while now and had only heard about it, pretty cool!✌🏼
@philiphinton1350
