Footage from 2012 testing the Lexus LX570 for the upcoming Baja 1000. We ended up winning this race to La Paz in the stock full production class. Win number 2 for us that year and this Lexus LX570 is one of two built at this level. This effort was supported by Factory Lexus USA and TMC Japan. This is the only Lexus team to have won 3 Baja 1000's 2 Baja 500's and 2 Championships in the production stock full class world wide.

It's a shame I there aren't that many KDSS compatible lift for this vehicle.

paxrom1 just getting my feet wet with content. I plan to do a build break down of the LX with detail pics of the suspension. Yeah not much out there for sure on Lift kits. Slee Off-Road is a good resource too

We won our 2nd Baja 1000 that year so I would say for sure it tested well. Then the following year we won every race we entered and took home our 3rd Baja 1000 in 5 years!

Does this have LSD?

It does not. It is Open front and Rear with an ARB locker and the factory Center diff lock. We tried a spooled rear diff. and it bounded up too much stresing the AWD system. In desert racing locked diffs are the norm, but the AWD system is the exception and the ARB combination was what I prefered.
