So glad to see this comment! I just ordered it and I’m 42, starting to have a lot of issues with wrinkles and aging skin. I saw a few people saying it didn’t work out for them and they felt it was because they were older so I was worried I wouldn’t like it

@@micahjohnson6312 Hi, Micah. My daughter is 33, she likes it also. But I just discovered, Fiera luxury concealer. I use it as foundation, and I love it way more then the silk spray. Fiera can be used as a foundation or concealer. It's really thick, so try to warm it up with my blow dryer. I use 2 shades, and right now, they have a special, that you buy 2, get 1 more free, and a free brush, and free shipping. My total was $34.00. I don't use the brush, I use a sponge.

I love this stuff! It was really fast and easy and covered nicely. It didn’t look cakey because it comes out in a spray and you use very little. The finish is great. No need to set or use a powder for me. I watched a presentation on this from the brand ambassador on QVC and they said the fat end of the brush is for large areas of the face and the small end is for concealing and smaller areas such as around the eyes.

Oh this whole time, I didn’t realize that with the brush ha ha. It’s been working great for me for primer and the foundation though. But yay, glad to hear it’s working so well for you!

I have the original Luminess air brush system. I have had it for a really long time now and I absolutely love it. I bought my daughter a system as well. I would always do friends makeup regularly for special places they were going or just for them to have a makeover and feel good about themselves. After having two major back surgeries I could no longer work and just couldn’t afford to keep up with purchasing the makeup and I really miss doing the makeovers. Lol. As for this system I would think the brush just to touch up or blend certain areas that might need as being airbrush makeup it’s not airbrush if you use the brush and don’t spray it on. I don’t use a brush with my system and my makeup turns out perfect every time. Their makeup itself is amazing too. Excellent quality. Everything from foundation, moisturizer and eyeshadow are all excellent.

This really seems like a perfect wedding day foundation. I hate when they don’t have shade names that help you figure yours out easily. It looks so beautiful on you!

Yes it’s such a great mix of traditional and airbrush. Genius! And yes the shades aren’t too hard to figure out. Their website has pictures so you can eyeball it. I do like when they provide skin tone cheat codes though. 😂

I love spray foundation. I haven’t ever used this brand yet but I’ve used it for yrs from Sephora. It’s one of my favorites. I do have their airbrush and I’m not crazy about it. I think because I don’t really know how to use it that well 😂

Mine came with three cans.. a primer, the makeup, and the sealant.. do we spray the sealant on our face directly or on brush as we do the foundation and primer?

This is a breakthrough for makeup I feel. I would much rather like to do this spray on foundation then airbrush. I hope it’s inexpensive too.

Yes it’s definitely so much better in my opinion. I’ve been using this spray pretty consistently now but I just did airbrush the other day on a client. I forgot how messy it is. It was such a difference. 😂 I really want to switch over to this system now. As for price, this system is more affordable than the airbrush device. I’d say equivalent to most higher end traditional foundations. But if you do the airbrush with the device, that’s when it really adds up. 😅

Hey, yes, so there is mixed ideas in the pro mua community on whether airbrush lasts better than traditional foundation in general. Some claim it doesn’t hold up as long and others swear by it. I always use extra setting powders and setting spray on my clients using airbrush myself and it holds up well. However, so far, I’ve only used this brush system specifically for personal use. But I still use it with setting powders & setting spray, as well. I find it holds up well for me, but I’m usually wearing it for on camera so I am not always testing it outdoors in hot weather, etc. My guess is that yes, I’d always recommend it with extra setting spray. But it might be something I need to test for you guys more with all day and humid wear. ☺️

Yes, I still use concealer. Think of it like your traditional foundation and how we still use concealers/correctors and powders with it. :)

How do I get more color and what the right color

Does it settle into pores? My problem with most foundation is that it tends to settle into, or around , my pores and then my pores look even bigger. It doesn’t seem to matter what primer I use and my skin is pretty moisturized.

I didn’t notice an issue with that on me. In fact, I felt it did better with my pores, especially on camera. However, I don’t have large pores myself and airbrush typically isn’t as customized as traditional is. With traditional, you could opt for a good pore minimizing primer with it. So I’m not 💯 that the airbrush will be better for you or not. 🤔

How do I no what shade is good for my face cuz my face is white and fair just got mine today but I think the colors to light I need a little darker to cover up my rosacea

Still test the shade along your jawline. If it’s too light, go a shade up. Or you may have to mix 2 colors. I know it can be hard to tell the right color from just looking online. 😬

Hi, yes it wipes off somewhat similar. But it’s a little better about transfer than traditional (not 100%, but more than traditional). So it does take maybe a little more scrub. But it isn’t too hard to remove.

How do I select the right shade? I don't know what my shade is. I think fair to light/medium but I'm not sure. I'm not China doll fair if you know what I mean

It can be hard to figure it out online, I know. Is your skin tone at all similar to mine? I’m light but not as pale as some. My shade is 030, if that helps? If you’re darker than me, you may want to try 040 or 050.

I’m just got my kit yesterday. I need to play around with it a little bit. I only put one layer on and my wrinkles were still visible. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to put this across my eye lids or if I need to apply power onto the he base foundation is applied or not.

Unfortunately wrinkles and texture will still be there a little. I have wrinkles I try to hide as well lol. But the airbrush should improve them some, especially on camera.Take pictures and see how it looks. I need about 3 passes for full coverage. As for powder, I still apply all my powders like I normally would. I don’t usually put it on eye lids. Let eye primer or concealer handle that as a base just like if you were using traditional. Hope that helps. 🤗

Hi, I’d go with 010 or 020 or you may even want to get both and mix it. My shade is 030, so if your skin is at all close to mine, that’s your shade. For spots, if they are really bad, you may still want other color correcting products as well. I’m a pro MUA and when I use the airbrush on clients, I still use color correctors, concealers and powders to supplement. If you need extra coverage, you’ll need to do 3 passes of it. Hope that helps!

Hi thanks for the video but what shade did you use please??? Im gonna order the starter set which is a trial before you buy. What is the size you recieved? They look big and bigger than the one offered for about 40 dollars. Was this size more expensive or is this the same?

Hi, sure thing! I think my shade is usually 030. And this was sent to me as PR, so I’m not completely certain on the consumer end. However I think it’s the same as the 3-piece set for close to $40, if that’s what you’re looking at? It’s the same 3 products, it just may be in different packaging than mine.

I do still clean it. I treat it like my other foundation brushes and just use my regular brush cleaner. I use Cinema Secrets:)

Maybe in the beginning when you’re getting used to how much to spray, etc. But overall, I feel I waste very little now. The bottles have lasted me for a while. I don’t use it every day, but I definitely use them often for filming and I find that they last me. :)

Sorry I’m delayed in responding (been traveling). Yes it holds up pretty well, but I’d say equivalent to my traditional foundation, I wouldn’t say longer. 8-10 hours is pretty decent, in my opinion.

Does the primer blur skin too? What do the instructions say?

Yes, it does. The directions/product summary says it blurs imperfections and smooths texture. I like the primer too. I didn’t necessarily care for the primer that came with the device as much, but I like this one with the spray a lot!

Did any of your clients with sensitive skin or rosacea have any kind of adverse reaction from the primer or foundation?

I always discourage my clients from using it if they have sensitive skin. We have a big chat about whether they will be a good candidate for it or not at the bridal trial. So I haven’t experienced anyone yet with adverse effects. I have definitely had a couple of folks on the fence though and we tried it at the trial, only to have them immediately tell they didn’t like how it felt on their skin.

What skin type would you recommend this for? I am now branching out with photography and I need it to look great for everyone, what do you recommend? The brush or system?

I definitely like the brush better all the way around but it may be harder to do for clients. You’d have to stock up on the brushes, etc. The device is probably better for multiple people. As far as skin type, it’s going to be better for those who don’t have mature or sensitive skin types. Dry skin does not do well with airbrush (it can get flaky). Also anyone who has facial hair or peach fuzz should avoid it. It amplifies the hair. It tends to be better for oily/combination/younger skin types because it does have more of a matte finish.

Mine came in a bag lol It looked great and flawless . Light enough could not feel on my face.a plus. Shade was a bit off and then by noon it looked bad, broken up. Pores really showed. Not a fan. I really wanted it to work.

Oh what a bummer. I’m sorry to hear that. The regular device formula holds up well, I use it on clients. But the spray, I typically do more for filming since it looks great on camera. I haven’t noticed problems with wear on me but I also haven’t started using this one on clients for all day wear yet to test it. Thanks for that heads up.

I have pretty dry aging skin. I don’t think folks with really dry skin are a great candidate for airbrush because it can get flaky. But I’m 45, so my “mature” skin is kind of still in the grey area.

Sorry, I missed this one earlier:) I actually don’t know from personal experience. I’ve never tried Dior’s. I’ve only done Temptu and Luminess. But I’ve been wanting to do a comparison video between those and trying out the Sephora, as well. So you have added one to my list to compare! :)

She literally went 8-16 inches😂 3 inches would be the length of like your middle finger.. She went huge Shaquille O'Neal 3inches... You're such a sweet heart.. You're using too much at first with the foundation and went to MED-FULL of the bat... I know this was almost a year ago and you've probably gotten much better... I love this one but, you're beautiful without!!

Your index finger is probably a good 3 inches. Each line on your finger should be about an inch.

I’ve always been terrible at measuring. 🤣 I honestly go more by how the mist is applying on the face. If it’s too concentrated, I move it away some or if I can’t see the spray well, I move in, lol.

I’m sorry, but “cutting corners “doesn’t really make sense when you’re reviewing a foundation, because how are we supposed to see how the foundation lays and how it looks when you already had make up on to begin with that literally makes absolutely no sense and would make your review completely pointless

I think I didn’t explain that well. It was the eyeshadow I “cut corners” on, NOT the foundation. I had a full clean base to test on. But everyone assumed I was wearing base makeup because i had eyeshadow base on. Not the case. Nobody was going to the video to see their little eyeshadow bonus that was included in the big PR package. That was not even something I was gonna try on, but just threw it on because it was there. It wasn’t even airbrush. It was a little accessory.
